IgorT, regarding the duty cycle myth. Although it would be nice to bust that myth, I don't think most people are going to run them for 5 mintues on 5 minutes off. At least I don't. I usually run them for about 1 minute at a time. Maybe 1.5-2 minutes if I'm doing a video or something. IMO, only one variable should be changed with the second diode. So if the first diode dies to quick, then the current should probably be turned down. If it keeps going and going, then the current gets turned up for the second diode (like you mentioned before). But if two variables are changed (duty cycle and current) then we won't know what caused the difference in results.
cmon guys only $60 more!
Yes, i already said at the bottom of that post that the test parameters NEED to stay the same, i changed my mind in the meanwhile, because other things are too important.
I have GGWs i can kill for the duty cycle thing.... I already did an experiment on a few PHRs once tho...
Hey Dave... PM sent for addy...
Jerry
This would be IN ADDITION to anything you can wrangle out of IgorT
I already mentioned my offers several times, i think everyone knows them, and they go regardless of what you contribute, it's a great offer for anyone who can afford $40!
A fully working module, and some diodes from me!
The number of diodes for $40 should be:
4x PHR + 4x LCC red
It doesn't cover a GGW tho, but that's over i guess...
We're almost done!
Ok, Bryce wants to donate the missing $40.....
Are we done?
