Things to do with a 100mW+ 589 laser;

1. Spend hours admiring beautiful beam.
2. Impress fellow laserists, and make them extremely jealous.
3. Go up to a cute girl, and tell her "Hey, you want to see the ray of sunshine in my pants?".

You did 1 & 2. Tape it when you do #3 please.... :eg:

You are not the only one who would kill to see that. The ultra powerful Guide Star Lasers are simply amazing. That is actually the inspiration of my next project to build a "fairly" powerful RGY laser. I have a 1W 650nm that I will beam combine to about 250-300mw 532nm for approximately 589nm.

I have some preliminary pictures that I am just about ready to post about this project.
 
Where do you purchase a 90mW 589nm ?

Recently been in contact with CNI the highest power PGL 589 they produce is rated
80mW..
Hopefully mine will be up to spec or better.
I'm awaiting my recent purchase of a PGL-III-C 589 80mW from CNI, can't wait:drool:
 
You just need to talk to the right people ;) (mine's from CNI)

However it takes a long wait, and a lot of work, its probably best to order a 50mW 589nm laser, you'll probably have it overspec knowing CNI... however asking for a 90mW netted me a 70mW so they're making a new one.

Enough about my problems, you'll get a sweet laser when it's all said & done

I can order them direct from CNI after the shipping and associated costs, it is about $750 to get the PGL III - C- 589nm rated 80mW PM me if you want more info. -Glenn

Dang I wish I knew you could get a deal like that on the 589 PGL from CNI I payed way more than that on my recent 589 purchase oh well :cryyy:
