*445nm lasers* !GB-Closed!

Re: UPDATED cheaper 445nm lasers UPDATED

Well, it's not useless. You can still focus with it, and it's actually quite efficient compared to the others, but there's a lot of splash from it.

Re: UPDATED cheaper 445nm lasers UPDATED

This is cause in the projector, they don't need a well collimated beam, just a big "spot" of light for the condenser ..... so they just used the lens that can take all the light from the chip, regardless if it produces a good beam or not ;)

Re: UPDATED cheaper 445nm lasers UPDATED

What's the timetable on these arriving, and can I definitely get a couple?

Re: UPDATED cheaper 445nm lasers UPDATED

I might be interested =)
Well, actually it depends on my budget...

Re: UPDATED cheaper 445nm lasers UPDATED

first post updated.
Some old info restated some new info.
Buying list added.

Re: UPDATED cheaper 445nm lasers UPDATED

I want two if the price holds! Can you test some of the diodes to make sure they aren't defects?

Great job on this!

Re: UPDATED cheaper 445nm lasers UPDATED

^To buy a whole laser array?
Build high quality kits or items for the forums.
I want to give the builders as much as advantage as i can. (we need to beat WL and nova...)
For a single diode that will be setup after the arrays are gotten tested, but there rate will be 35$ a diode.
At this time i am only needing people who want arrays.
if you say you want x number i am taking you want x number of projectors. just making this clear

Thanks. Just to clarify, I'm after 2 diodes, not arrays :-)

If I'm not mistaken, He is not taking orders for single diodes yet.
If you want a single diode (or anything less the a full 24 diode array) be patient till the arrays have been tested.

Re: UPDATED cheaper 445nm lasers UPDATED

Yeah this is rather confusing, I'm after 2 diodes, not arrays!
