Re: UPDATED cheaper 445nm lasers UPDATED !FOR ALL!

So we can buy diodes from him for $35? Or? I am very confused with this thread.
I believe kiyoukan is looking to get orders for full arrays of 24 diodes @ $550.
EDIT (3 more arrays as of post 101)
Individual diodes should be available shortly after 3 more arrays are ordered.

Re: UPDATED cheaper 445nm lasers UPDATED

I would like to order a array. I,m a senior member from Photonlexicon and have my own lasercompany. I,m building projectors and have developed my own modules. Electrofreak, kgb , and andythemechanic know that i deal with MCcarrot from PL a lot. Actually andy has developed some high side drivers that can drive a 4 setup and i,m waiting for his drivers as we speak:yh:

I wouldn't mention Mcarrot's name as a reference.... :cryyy:
It will not help your cause...IMO
As far as I'm concerned Mccarott is an Anti- Portable Laser Dictator and
bashes LPF and Laser Pointers every chance he gets...

Re: UPDATED cheaper 445nm lasers UPDATED !FOR ALL!

I,m not fond of laserpointers either but i like cockerspaniels and others like golden retrievers. Mccarrot is a rough bulley sometimes but he is concerned with the safety of other people. Also to do a fantastic lasershow that people enjoy or have a pointer that you can show to other people wich can pop balloons are two ways to enjoy lasers. I give him alot of credit because of his safety knowledge. But there are plenty of others who can vouch for me. I build my first projector with a raytrack35 with scanfail. I could easely bought another cheaper scanset without scanfail and save 200 euro,s . But i like to do a lasershow as safe as possible.

Re: UPDATED cheaper 445nm lasers UPDATED !FOR ALL!

If half-array's are available for $275, that would better suit my needs.

I have a rule not to profit from hobbies. My goal is to test a clever beam-splitter block array I drew up years ago, and try to combine 8 diodes into a single beam. :)

I am available to paypal anytime you're ready to get this order going. :)

Best Wishes,
-Luke

Re: UPDATED cheaper 445nm lasers UPDATED !FOR ALL!

Kiyoukan, you probably shouldn't put me down for .5 of an array since you won't be ordering them in halves. Once I've found someone to share the array with, then one of us will commit to a whole array.

I'm aware of his/her interest, but things need to be worked out in PMs. Otherwise, there could be several people wanting half-arrays with no one able to agree on terms.

No offense to your Projector or Laser knowledge intended...

But if that statement is true... What are you doing registering on
a Laser Pointer Forum....

Don't tell me this Pointer Forum IS good enough to join to get
a bargain on 445nm LDs....

A little hypocritical don't you think....

Okay people we are very close, just a few more and we will be good to go.

Re: UPDATED cheaper 445nm lasers UPDATED !FOR ALL!

Laserbee, are you always that hostile to potential customers? I dont have a meter yet;)

I joined LPF because of the relaxed atmosfere and the knowledge that is being shared. Thats why its a forum. :yh:Also because i,m not fond of laserpointers doesn,t mean that i,m against it. I will anyone who is enjoying lasers help him to enjoy his lasers to the fullest when its a pointer or a projector. That,s why i gave the example of the dogs. Both doglovers but different types. I dont judge people if they like something else then me. Both dog need food to share knowledge to the bennefit of the dog is most important.

Lots of LPF members jump between Photonlexicon and LPF to get the best knowledge. Thats also a reason why i joined. I have developed my own modules posted the knive edge mount on PL to help others. They can copy the design of buy it from me. :D

Re: UPDATED cheaper 445nm lasers UPDATED !FOR ALL!

Yes i do cross to both forums but that is due to the more knowledge the better,
It is kinda annoying if some people join just for the deals but at least they join and hopefully it will encourage them to stay and contribute.
We need sales anyway so i don't care where you come from or why as long as your willing to be nice and help.
Going away till Sunday expect to order them Monday if we get that last few in.
Till then you all have a good night.

Re: UPDATED cheaper 445nm lasers UPDATED !FOR ALL!

Lasersbee is one of our "gatekeepers" (and we love him for it). Just respond without hostilities. He's just looking out for the good of the forum.
You would be surprised at how abrasive his and my first encounters were. :wtf:

Now we get along pretty well ;)

Peace,
dave

Re: UPDATED cheaper 445nm lasers UPDATED !FOR ALL!

Nice to see that the gatekeeper is so friendly. Maybe a different approach would be better.:)
But i can understand it a little bit because of the reputation that laserpointers have.:(
Its all good dave. At least there are members that are stepping forward to protect what is good.;)

You are thinking of "greeters" not gatekeepers.

We have some greeters as well, but they serve a different purpose ;)

Peace,
dave

**EDIT**
If you want to discuss the psychology of it, we can move to PM's. I have thread-jacked this long enough ;)

Re: UPDATED cheaper 445nm lasers UPDATED !FOR ALL!

kiyoukan, why don't you start excepting orders for individual diodes? I'm sure you could get about 24 orders quickly (I'd definitely get one). This way you could get the last array (or 2) that you need to order all 10 of them.
