pullbangdead: i am aware of that. my post was a reaction to igort's signature, where it says "only 8 more to go". as long as there is no final pricetag on it, i am interested, but i won't pay more than 20 bucks for a lens. i live in europe too (germany), so that might be an advantage for me in this case.

It amazes me how petty some of our members are. Igor is going out of his way (money and time) to bring us an ultra-high tech item that is not available anywhere to anyone else. An item tested by himself and SAFE for ALL our laser applications. and some of you guys have the nerve to say "I wont pay more than $15 or $20". Well than don't. You loose. I don't even know why you a wasting your time on this thread. Someone who would go through extreme expense and time to do this and is kind enough to share with the group is very rare. If you cant appreciate this then you are wasting everyone's time here. Everyone has had months to save up, so save excuses. The price is what HE says it is. Don't embarrass yourself, and us with counter offers.

I'm in 100% no matter what the price is..Thanks a million Igor

^I think IgorT stopped updating the list. He knows that we have enough people ho are interested. We are just waiting for him to sell his 6x's.

have you ever thought that there are people out there whose parents don't shove everything up their asses? obviously not, and i for example have to pay for these things myself. well, obviously thinking is not your biggest talent.

maybe you could try to compensate that by reading. the original price was aimed at about 15$. i didn't make any counter offers, i just said i would be in for the price that was mentioned at the beginning of this thread, which you obviously didn't read. you shouldn't respond from the recent-section when you haven't read the thread, you are embarassing yourself. really.

i appreciate very much what igor does here. you never know how much time is left for these gb things, and i didn't have weeks to think it through, since i joined this forum just over ONE week ago. the original price was aimed at 15$, then there were RUMORS (not even a single post by igor himself about the price going up as i can see) for the price to be >30$, and this is too much for me. and as soon as HE gives a final pricetag I can make a final decision whether i am willing to pay that price, but (which you would know had you read the thread) igor hasn't said anything about the price for a while now. and since this is a FEELER (again, reading helps here too), i just wanted to sense my interest.

i don't think it is for you to judge me about what i am willing to spend on anything.

i would like to see someone take that for real and charge him 140$ for the lens, see what he has to say then.

This is a one time GB. If they are $30 and you don't buy one, you will never get one of these lenses. Just save up like $15 more and you should be good...

You know you don't want to miss out on this. ;)

well, since is was planning on buying two i might still be in for one, nevertheless i don't think i have to explain myself why and how much i am willing to spend on what, do i?

Come on, there's no reason to argue stuff in this thread.  Just leave it at you're interested as long as the price strikes your fancy.  It doesn't matter if one person is turned away at the thought of any particular price, as there are plenty more that are not.  So, stop arguing!

And, in case anybody hasn't noticed, Igor hasn't posted in this thread in a while.  I'm pretty sure because he's avoiding getting hounded by questions of when and how much and any drama associated with it.

So, my suggestions:
1) be patient
2) stop posting needlessly in this topic (including arguing)
3) don't bother posting your about your "interest" as this WILL happen, Igor's just waiting until he can actually afford to do it.... and he's as eager as anybody to get it going.

Now, back to business!

;D Please count me in for at least one, possibly two depending on the final cost.   They sound like a great improvement from the standard plastic aixiz.

EDIT: Ah... make that one 405nm & one 6xxnm and/or multilayer... I'm not really sure anymore if you are going to choose one or the other but I am certain that LPFers will want to be able to mod other wavelenghths too, no... ?  :-/
