200mW of green for $125 shipped!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do I have a LPM??? Uhhh well yes I do :)
We ran it for 2 hours and got 358.3 avg and a peak of 371.4 Located in FL too, but it's 72F in the shop.

It's amazing the thing got through because it is clearly labeled in large letters on one side of the box exactly what it is and it's power; the declarations papers same thing, don't know how it made it through. I wonder about the 500mW one, it must be 1W.

Thats awsome, over 300mw too! Now you've got me worried about customs though, I really hope it makes it. Did yours ship EMS/USPS? I don't understand how yours came in only four days.

Edit: Not too worried anymore, package just arrived!!!

Coolness, let us know how it goes; so be no problem. Do you like the way they packed it? I mean geez I think a tank could run the box over and no effect on it :) the packaging I have ever seen for protection against damage, the seller must have experience with shipping, definitely not the first package they have ever shipped.

Anybody want to go for the 500mW :)

Jack I don't know if you noticed this about this Laser, it has both a TEC and a Fan on the Laser Head, and the power supply also has a fan; those I believe do help keep it stable.

Jack it looked really good, I'm very surprised with this; I haven't dug up my IR filter yet, but I would imagine it will knock the readings for sure. The seller says the 150mW+ is based on 532nm, what we are reading of-course on a Thermopile sense is the sum of all wavelengths.

Not sure about the phone line, call my cell instead then.
I was calling your cell, it's still messed up, almost like the calls are getting forwarded and automatically answered in some lab where background noises are present.
Sounds like a pretty good deal if the stability and beam spec are decent. I think a high quality IR filter will bring the output down to 150mw, but that's still pretty good.
I think someone else in this thread said they got 200mw with their IR filter, but most the folk around here buy very cheap IR filters that may still let 10% or more through. A good filter that blocks 98% or more can cost $40- $50 and that's more than most hobbyists will spend on a filter.

Jack that is really weird about the phones calls, I've had several calls today and no issues.

Hey Ramsey_innovations come on you said you got...how's it doing??

Sorry, I had to go into work right after I posted last. I just got home a bit ago and I've only run it for about 15mins or so but it seem fairly stable, slight rises and falls but nothing dramatic. Divergence isn't excellent as noted by other members but good enough for a long distance beem shot in the night sky. I don't have an LPM (yet) but I can without a doubt tell from experience that it is at least 200mw of green. I'm very happy with my purchase and I've got to thank ElektroFreak for letting us know about this great deal.:thanks:

Nice find--7$ discount for combined ship on two. +rep--thanks for the tip

I ordered one of these last week and it came a few days ago, very nice laser. 312mW peak with around 260mW continuous and very stable once it warms up, my basement is very cold with the A/C but I bet this will behave even better in a warmer enviorment. Dont have any IR filters yet but I'd say its at least 200+mW of 532....

Is it possible to put a focus-adjuster on a lab laser like this one? Since people are reporting that the divergence is bad, I figure it might help.

Yes, but a single lens won't work. A beam expander would be optimal. I use one with this particular laser and it works very well.

ElektroFreak, you are the man! +1

I enquired with the seller re: shipping to Australia, in line with Ebay policy they are not permitted. However, I can order one directly and pay using PayPal!

Order sent!

Many many thanks, this is opportune given the death of my 200mW DX module recently, the scanner has not been the same with only 50mW...

PS, the seller was interested in how I found this, link to this thread supplied. I expect him to drop by and take a look.

has anyone opened up the driver to see whats inside? any possibility of running these analog? maybe drive the diode from a different driver and let this driver take care of running the TEC?
