    My wife bought me a lasense model from someone on here last year for anniversary. It is a 575 Yellow and works beautiful

    This year I was hoping to have it made into a handheld.

    It that something you could do for me?

    Should be do-able by a guy like rich, IIRC the lasance modules I've built into handhelds had an O.D of 20mm. And go with something decent for the driver, the IR diodes they use as pumps can be easily killed.

    Wanting a multi-laser set up. Would be applied directly to the skin. I'm aware of the safety concerns with eyes when using lasers.

    o 5 to 6 lasers ~630nm peferred, if not then 650nm
    o At least 100mw each laser. 150mw preferred, IF it'd be safe to be used on skin without injury.
    o Managable heat when used for less than 20 mins continuous

    How much would this cost, how long would it take to complete ?

    LPF cannot advise on any applications that involve lasers being used on the human body.
    Using non-medical endorsed products by inexperienced operators has a huge potential for disaster.

    Hello buddy, how are you? Is there any problem if I build a 7W in a C6 host from Survival? Is there any other host you can recommend for 7W - in 20mm module?

    The C6 is way to small for the 44 diode a C8 with a larger heat sink is better and a battery exstention tube for 2X18650's

    Thanks for help me about the topic of 501B host.. I'm intending to get a new host with a powerful diode and driver instead re-use the 501. Sorry for bother you but, would you be able to assist me to get these parts? I'm looking on Ebay and Survival but I don't understand anything about amperage..spec of the drive and whether the parts are correct for each other to avoid problems...

    Hi,
    Ok get a host from survival lasers that will hold a DTR 20mm copper module with a driver shelf built in . Order the diode of your choice in a 20mm module. Survival Lasers has a host that holds a 20mm module. once you get the parts make sure the 20mm module is prewired and all you do is solder two wires together and put heat shrink tubing on the solder joint to they wont short out.

    I will follow your tips and build my own 5w or 7w. My budget is very low, converting USD to BRL it's desperate. My friend coming from NJ will bring me the diode and X Driver. But that's the question, Survival DTR Host is for 20mm only and the vendor has 7W only in 12mm.

    I didn't see the host with the internal fan until now, interesting. I'd like to see some hosts made with enough room inside to add two diodes, a wave plate and PBS cube along with a mirror mount and maybe a cylinder pair. I know, that's not a smaller host.
