My Makeshift 250mW RG Yellow Laser Build

I was in the mood to try a new laser project, so I settled on trying combining beams for the first time. I didn't really have the best parts for the job, but it ended up working fairly well.



The camera didn't pick up the color as well as I would have liked, in real life it is more of a greener shade of yellow.

Funny I took a break from re-aligning mine to see your new thread.

Very cool! Kind of the poor man's yellow...if you don't have $5000 for a 250mW then this will do just fine.:beer:
 
did you try freezing it then burning it while wacking w/a bigger hammer???

I did XD @styropyro where did you get that dichro, lasers, glue etc :D Twisted is just a little crazy now that he has seen this done. I can mount this on a laptop psu I have and use the psu to mount everything on... Of course using a voltage regulator so I don't have that crazy 12v put into a green laser :P

You probably can get it from styropyro himself , or from a few members who sell C@sI0 parts and 445 diodes.
