I did this to my dad's normal projecters.
I used 100mw green.
The damage looks like killing a bounch of pixels.
A lot of pixels are not working and lefts black threads on the screen.

This reminds me of a few years ago...
Being in Missouri, a large majority of the population are made up of complete retards.
There was a man and his wife living in a trailer, in an attempt to create a hole in the wall to run coaxial cable for their tv, the man used his .22 rifle.

The idea in itself is stupid, but he also had his wife stand on the other side to see where the hole came out at. So the man ended up putting a hole in the wall and through his wife's chest.

....true story.

There must be something in your drinking water cause those things nevers seems to happent in europe.
What happents in Nokia stays in Nokia  (Don't mind if you don't get the last one. It sure hit only the national news)

The true sadness is that his plan had little chance of success, since a .22 hole is too small to fit a coax cable through. I guess his wife is lucky that he did not realize that and took a .357 instead :D

@ CROPxi: why ? ..... About the wrong place for ask ?

Cause this particular manufacturer is trying to cause problems to anyone, for avoid to have their projectors harvested ..... so it's always better to avoid to cite this manufacturer name, for avoid to cause any problem to the server owner ;)

We really should not be using THAT companies name or the model numbers EVER in any posts or threads-there are bots that search for phonenumbers and any dot coms that get used- I would be greatly surprized if they do not exist for the purpose of finding those words/terms any time they get used.

About not letting defective people have children--wasn't there some guys back in the 40s with similar ideas??

Just who get to decide such things- ??

be careful what you wish for.................

The guy in the 40's wasn't taking about genetic defects, more like religious ones.
I'm saying if family has the capacity to support a defective kid, go for it.
I believe society in general should not be responsible for the care of a non contributing member.
As soon as you become more of a liability than what you have/will contribute you are fundamentally a drain on society in general.
There are handicapped people that have done great things but they aren't all like Forest Gump

I'm a little partial to the "rite of passage" idea that every person should be subjected to a test to see if they can survive say; Out in the wilderness for a week (just one example) If you can't figure out how to get out of a box canyon and follow the river downstream (indicating intelligence, resourcefulness, and athleticism) then I guess you weren't fit to become an active member of society.

Of course, this idea specifically is loaded with problems but it would cut down one the dregs of society that have/will never contribute. ^_^

Uhm, apart the fact that this is "a little bit not honest" (politically correct statement :p), it had to be done without post here before ..... or do you think that Casio don't keep an eye on our (and all the others laser related) forums ? :D

I think Casio is already on to the scams.. Every projector ive bought comes in
two boxes.. The product box, and the shipping carton. When you open the shipping
carton is specifically states in the middle of a huge red stop sign sticker DO NOT RETURN
TO STORE......

If there is a problem, you have to deal with a call center and it goes back to be inspected
first..

Not sure if this is Canada only, but im sure they are wise to a wide variety of scams
associated to their hybrid projectors..

Lol no, That's just one example.
Most of the brightest minds on earth would probably fail that one ^_^
You would be amazed what you can do when you have to.
I walked ~10-15km into town basically blind when it was -30*C to get to the hospital after I got welding blindness (the visor was meant for a different type of welding and I was too young to know better).
I was all right once I got the freezing but walking in a blizzard like that blind was a little unnerving ^_^
