Big improvement. :gj:

@ Pman, host will just need a 35mm hole rather a 12mm hole.
I really like the driver mount with 2 screws, that makes it worth it right there. :)

@ DTR: I'm going to order a 35mm drill bit, or should it be 36 or possibly 34?

Wow a 35mm I.D. 1/4 thick aluminum tube and make a spring board mount and a battery spacer, these could be fun.

35mm is exactly 1 3/8 That means off the rack thick wall tubing should work.

Yea had a hard time holding the calipers and taking the picture but it is basically 35.00mm exactly. Yea you can boar exactly 35.00mm and press it in or every so slightly oversize by maybe 0.05mm to get a perfect fit and use a set screw.

Understand that RED;) I want to know the information like badboy is looking for. A direct plop it in host:) Not interested in a $100 host unless it is more like what Ehg would build to make it fit.

Yea they will be perfect for anyone that wants to make a custom host that has a 35mm hole with set screw at the top. The main idea is it is a module so it will fit a heatsink fit for a 35mm module like the XYZ units but I like the idea of a custom host for them.

I also have 20mm and 25mm modules being made at the moment as well.

Hi Folks,
I'm very pleased that this is going some where , It's like a breath of fresh air compared to the normal every day stuff. Now he's making 20mm and 25mm sinks that should give us a broader playground with these since we have Sinner and Ehgumus MIA . Well back to basics i guess with flash light hosts for a while ant way. But it would be nice to have the good old boys back in the shop for us..

So I'm going to go ahead and purchase a Led Lenser P7.2 and try out these new modules, I think it's going to look awesome with the holes around the head showing the copper module, they should be a perfect fit for this flashlight, I'll post my results, not sure yet weather I'll use a NDB 7875 or a Gball we will see.

Led lenser are a pain to take apart!! especially the lens... you can use the lens as beam shaping optic for laser..it turn the beam into a nice round dot....( the p4 BM)

Hi Isaac,
The lens wasn't an issue to take out it has a threaded barrel onto and it's plastic. That screwed out easy the led part on top of the battery use is glued on tight thats my issue here.

Sounds great Jordan. I can see us putting our heads together and coming up with some decent host options.
What was the deciding factor on the other sizes?

On the German thing anyone wanting a fantastic set of pliers the knipex cobra are by far the best I've ever come across. They make every other set of pliers I've owned look like complete garbage.

The last set of pliers you will ever need. Lowes sells them too or at least they used too.

Do you have a P7.2
Does the head unscrew from the body at least!
I already purchased it, it's gonna come out!

hi BBB,
No i have the M7 #052325and the head unscrews, But the diode and contact board is glued tight. I'm still working on how to separate it from the battery tube. I'll send pics later of mine disassembled..It looks the same as the one you posted but it doesn't have the holes in the head ..

It's all good bro, checked out some rebuilds and tear downs on line and it looks
Simple, everything comes apart easy on the P7.2 it's direct drive with a few resistors, so no driver really, should be fun can't wait.

Are you talking about this led.

They should fit this led lenser nicely if your willing to spend $100
I have started liking the Coast HP 14 for a larger host.
