35MM CU Modules/DTR

Is the threaded portion any deeper or the same or less than the 12mm modules, I could really use a couple extra turns. I can cut a 12mm threaded end off and make a ring mount to lengthen the threads for an expander and a particular long FL lens.

Do you know how many turns or the depth of the lens holder 9mm threads is on the 35mm module vs the 12?

Red I haven't received them yet, maybe today but I'm gonna asume The threads for the lens holder is going to be exactly the same depth as the 12mm modules. I can't see why he would change it.

These modules are bloody awesome,
just received them and just precision workmanship,
I cannot believe how heavy they are also, Great product Jordan they should sell like a cappachino,
My measurements with the led lenser are half a millimetre off but I will get it in,
A little work on my drillpress and it will be fine, waiting on the NUBMO6 also from Jordan, I have a 5.5a boost driver that I'm might use.
I'm also half a millimetre of with a 26650 minke imr that I was going to use anyway I love these heatsinks!

I would stay south of 5 amps just like the nubm44, mine is very happy at 4.5a via fixed SXD driver.

At 5.5 I noticed it started to dim a little in my pics. You can see it in the beam.

Oh yeah no I won't go over 4.5a it would be better for the driver anyway, I was just mentioning what the driver was he called it a 5.5 super boost driver I think.

These are good news indeed!

Perfect for high-power diodes and custom hosts.

Hi BBB,
Now thats going to be a sweet build pal, heat dissipation with that diode no problem. Cant wait to see it glow buddy..

Rich:)

Yeah same, thanks buddy
I've been working nightshift every night for the past 8 days can't wait to stick a module on the drillpress and work it down that half a millimetre to fit the head, yep this ones gonna be awesome!

Hi BBB,
Wow i gotta see this the suspense is to much Pal. That huge heat sink in a host OMG...

Rich:)

Think I may have found a host for the new modules. Was in Lowe's today, grabbed a metric tape and used it to check out their flashlights. The utilitech 4cell fl1 standard looks good so far, will tear it down tonight if time.

Hi VV,
What size cells does it take?? And we would like some pics of it ,if it's not to much trouble. Hope this host works out , some are a real pain.. Not to bad to were you have to mod a little bit.
Great find ...

Man it's killing me, how can I load pics from my phone? I'm stuck in the light (mobile) version, with no option to change back. I can send you some pics. I also have no idea how to link on this phone

Btw, it takes 4 Aaa in a barrell holder but has springs at both ends with a good but of travel

The battery contact board unscrews and I can tell once the reflecter and crystal is out it will screw back in a good bit farther

Can fit 18350 w/tube but am stuck, lense appears to be 35 mm but cannot figure how it comes out.

Also has round driver pill, may be too big, still tryin to get lens out

Had to pop lens out with a screwdriver, it's acrylic, bad news is I can see no way to get module in from the back, the lens is 35 mm. Would only be able to install module from front (after the lens keeper ring is filed down) Guess that's the way I'm going, I'll drill and tap a setscrew hole for the module.
