Ban Darkarmyofone... Again...

Tyler is neg repping people who write about their thoughts/feelings about him again. Through all of this even I have left his rep alone. I felt it is his. Leave it to him. Unfortunately he is now using it as a weapon to try to hurt forum members.

In all of my tenure here on the forum, I have only negative repped two people. Tyler just became the third. We need to take this weapon out of his hands. I cannot take rep away again for awhile. I need some help with this one.

I wonder if c0ld froze it while he looks through PM's, emails, and threads?

Did you rep him before? Do you get a message that says you need to spread the rep around some before repping him again? Have you reached your rep "limit"

yea I guess I have to spread some rep around. I repped him when I first joined, so like 4-5 months ago. I've given out plenty of rep since then, hmm

And as far as this poll, I think a temp ban might be good, but it really depends on how much Tyler is paying for that darklasers ad on every page. If that is a sizable amount then I don't think Tyler should be banned, he'd be one of the few sources of income for this website.

Forums are generally not the most profitable businesses, this should be considered.

I've read why this way done and I still can't agree. What if the result is NO again. You'll open another poll on the Vets section tomorrow? I'm not saying that the other poll wasn't biased or something, anyway I doubt he opened 50 accs anyway. IMO to ban someone a 60% vs 40% is NOT enough.

He's usually making good posts and if what you want is to prevent newbies to get scammed cuz you think he is in fact an scammer, take his rep out, flame his selling threads or whatever, I don't think opening this thread again is any good.

As Glenn said, we are better than this...

Edit: Why are you bringing here the marijuana forums etc...? Is there any rule that forbids to be a drug addict? Dragonlasers owner is consuming cocaine and we are not doing anything, most of you smoke and we are not doing anything. Why him? It's like trying to make a big conspiracy because the main argument is not enough. Not that I'm saying you are wrong with the scam argument, but it's really unfair to do such a thing...

I never sold anything to anybody and I always bought from trustworthy sellers like ndrew. You don't even know me and say I am a disrespectfull prick? Considering what most of the reliable guys like daguin say, I don't see why they would want you banned for no reason. Even Jaseth who was in your side( as far as he seemed ) states that you turned bad. AND he also neg reped you.

When is the deadline for this?

Let me start off by saying

I haven't been screwed by this member, but I do remember him being somewhat cocky in a reply to one of my builds I showed him in one of his SALES threads.

I believe it was something about "the most powerful smallest build". In that thread I showed him one of my small builds and was kinda slammed.

I bite my tongue as he was a BIG business man and all, but the whole time was thinking he was only interested at turning a profit:undecided: and how dare I post a pic of a small build on his sales thread.

money,money,money... I really think this is all he cares about.

This is a hobby forum... some business yes, but to do nothing but hound for profit is aggravating at best. Try getting some humble pie and start helping members in a way where your not trying to expand your bottom line.

I've always said build them, play with them, but don't sell them and orphan them, and if you do... go legitimate or you get what we got here.

The Marijuana info was simply posted to show those that were asking for proof of his lies that he would lie even about unimportant stuff to accomplish his goal. I don't give a hoot about personal marijuana use. I live in Southern California and grew up in the 60's for goddess' sake.

I have answered PM, after PM, after PM asking for me to explain it to them personally. I cannot be the lawyer for everyone.

If lying, cheating, extreme overcharging, selling poor quality builds, charging to "fix" his failed lasers, and outright theft from both companies and individuals is not enough reason to ban someone, then you have a VERY different view from mine of what the responsibilities of a good forum member are.

I cannot write everything that I know about tyler to prove it to you personally. It would be much too long and some of the people involved are still trying to get their laser from him and/or their money back from him.

In the end you have this -- the word of a man who has been proven repeatedly that he will lie to accomplish his goal and my word.

Choose wisely. You are deciding the character of your forum
