I'm really not trying to restart old threads, everyone keeps bugging me about it. I just dont pay much attention to the dates. Also, what does it mean when a thread is "stickied"?

It means the OP was really, really happy to be posting :eg:. Just that it was deemed of enough importance to be kept at all times at the top of a section, so it couldn't get buried by inactivity. Posting in an older sticky isn't really necroposting, as long as it's somewhat relevant.
