What! a big hole?

I learned in Hawaii, volcano land full of "pukas" holes when the volcano errupts over 75 percent of lava coming out goes back into the mountain, also, there are many lava tubes and cracks, so, is that why skinny Hawaiians are so rare? -Glenn

O yes they do mine under city's and sometimes the whole city has to move, a case like this is taking place right now in poland where a salt mine has been doing business under ground since the 1600's now the entire city above must move as sink holes like this one are starting to appear.

Looks like a mining shaft has collapsed.. but obviously it wouldn't be under the city...

Such phenomenons happen when tornados sweep across dolines and bring them to collapse. The water washes away the rocks and chalk material. I think these holes are called "cernotes" or something like that.

This morning they gave the news in TV also here, about that hole ..... in the helicopter made video, there was shown clearly that the hole is going not just straight down, but also laterally (mean, the hole is much more large at the bottom, than at the top) ..... they said that the terrain is still falling from hole sides, and that they want to evacuate all the zone around ..... speaker said the hole is at least 60 meters deep, but none said nothing about the cause of this, not yet at least .....

Also, they said that there was a big building with peoples, where the hole is ..... and they're "searching for victims" (also if i can be surprised if after a similar fall, they can find anything).

Wow! If I were a resident of that area, i'd move the hell out in a huff! :O Very scary stuff.

I bet the locals are taking advantage of that sink hole to get rid of their unwanted tech, garbage and the daughters boyfriend from hell.

um we are talking guatemala, dont think they have too much unwanted tech. but a couple m-80s would be fun to throw in there.

I am sorry, I am sorry... I did not about atmospheric mirroring, I promise not to shoot my 455nm laser in a southerly direction...
