Accu, I haven't been round' here all that long, but one thing I've noticed is the amount of grief that you get. Some of it self inflicted and deserved, some not. Although either way, it also seems like you and others thrive on it all. Some label it 'attention whoring' 'trolling' etc; I simply prefer to view the rich pageantry of life as 'Entertaining'. This web forum medium is naturally very limited in it's scope, so it's often hard to tell what the intentions are of the entities on the other end of the line. So the default is that most folks take things at face value, or interpret things to fit into their preconceived notions and comfort zones.
So your click-bait thread here, has again been entertaining and informative especially in light of @Alien Laser's awesome gesture. For all the stirring up of things you do with ye'olde poop spoon, to have a member here step up like they did, is a rather pleasant 'tell' that's representative of this forum in a very real world practice for all to see. And FWIW, I also understand why many peeps feel that if someone habitually stirs the poop, that the person stirring it should be compelled to lick the spoon.
Another thing that I noticed since visiting here, is the wide variety of designs and hosts available and in use. Barely limited by imaginations.
And when I first viewed your 'Thor's Hammer' build, I found it be interesting in a most 'throwback' sort of way. The oversized, exposed heat sink fins with the red rubber O'ring gasket reminded me of some nascent space age Elizabethan collar. In concert with the vintage captured safety switch and general utilitarian cobble, to me looked like it was straight out of the late 50's early 60's. Again due to this web medium, it's hard to say if this was part of your intentions to start with, or simply the form follows function way that the build progressed.
This build of yours also brought back to mind a little ditty from the past as well. And after pulling it up and reviewing the video clip, I feel it's most apropos to share it here and request that once you have resuscitated it, consider including this tune as part of the soundtrack in the next video you make featuring the rejuvenated 'Thor's Hammer'.
I have a hunch that your 'fans' could also relate.
