I want one too!

The pointer you have is maybe 100mW - how much did you pay for it?
If you want a visible beam in daylight conditions as bright as you get at night then you'll need to spend a lot of money.
I said what this was earlier.
Depends on what you consider to be daylight.
Outside, on a sunny day, you're talking in the order of 10.000 lux, and even a 100 watt green beam might not be all that visible if the air is fairly clear. You can test prescense by sticking your hand in the beam and if it smells like bacon it's probably there.
Even indoor can be problematic, if you have a space with large windows and such indoor illumination can be 1000 lux or more on a sunny day, and you will not be able to see powerful laser beams either.
There is no way you could tell say 200 from 500 mW just by looking at how bright the beam is under daylight conditions, indoor or outdoor, since it's all relative, and the difference in ambient brightness between an slightly overcast and a fully clear day could be a factor of 100. On a very overcast day that could be a factor 1000 less compared to a sunny one easily.
Yea I kinda disappointed about it.
From the pictures you posted it is fine for what it is.
What do you expect from a bottom of the barrel, lowest end, mass produced, cheap Chinese laser that can be bought, retail, for about the same price as a good cup of coffee?
When you want to upgrade to a laser that isn't a low cost toy quality--excellent quality with a very much more visable beam outdoors at night get one from JetLasers. See: 515nm - 532nm - JETLASERS.ORG
To give you an idea of what some fog can do.
TOP TO BOTTOM:
105mW 520nm
310mW 473nm
<1mW 632.8nm HeNe
I remember Styropyro showing a 2w 532 having a beam slightly visible in daylight. But that laser was probably overspec too.
.
Gonna try ( a 07 at ) 5A then 5.5 and go nuts with it.
Real curious to see how the 07 works at 5.5 amps? If it does, it's something I'd like to give it a go and have a grander. Best wishes, will be watching.
Edit, I'm serious thinking about trying to push a 044 at 6.0 amps just to try and see if she'll hold?
Have no problems seeing artic spyder during day lol
