Hello again, fellow laser addicts.

I made a short video, demoing how the 445nm diode behaves when
smoothly (*COUGH*scratchy*COUGH*pot*COUGH*) turning up the current.

The lowest I can get right now is around 230mA, slightly above threshold.
From there I turn it up to around 1.3A.
And then there's this button labeled "11". :whistle:

Lens has been removed to better see what's happening.

I suppose many of you have already seen this in real life but I gess many others
have not, so there you go, enjoy.

disable the camera auto light balance to see better results :)
interesting video ;)

Very cool. I remember the first time I turned up one of my flexdrives to 1500mA I thought I had totally botch the laser up because of that unusual "stacked horizontal bars" output.

Very cool of you to post this, Yes turn off the auto white ballance functions of the camera and do it again :)

Cool video, i tried this myself and seeing the output pattern dance and change is very interesting
