Hello again, fellow laser addicts.

I made a short video, demoing how the 445nm diode behaves when
smoothly (*COUGH*scratchy*COUGH*pot*COUGH*) turning up the current.

The lowest I can get right now is around 230mA, slightly above threshold.
From there I turn it up to around 1.3A.
And then there's this button labeled "11".

Lens has been removed to better see what's happening.

I suppose many of you have already seen this in real life but I gess many others
have not, so there you go, enjoy.

In case anybody's wondering what laser that is:

Very cool. I remember the first time I turned up one of my flexdrives to 1500mA I thought I had totally botch the laser up because of that unusual "stacked horizontal bars" output.

Pretty blue light. No, children! Don't step into the light! Sizzle, sizzle.

Cool picture! Thanks!
