bad experience with rebman.....


i noticed a post for WTT psp for laser from rebman, and was interested. all went well at the begining. we discussed shipping, item condition and dates. well, we BOTH lied about the date that we were going to ship them out. i start getting PM's from rebman demanding to know where his laser was, that he had already shipped out the psp and thought he was goint to get ripped off. he said that he was going to tell everyone that i was a scam and slander my name on the forum. well a lot of pm's were exchange in anger, and come to find out...once he received my package of the laser he tells me that he was worried about getting ripped off on the internet so he decided to wait till he received his stuff before he shipped mine. the whole time he was giving me hell about his package he was lying about mine being in the mail. he said that the laser worked fine, but he couldn't focus it. i replied with a pm instructing him on how to focus and he is now happy. after a week of no package, i want my PSP now. i sending pm's to rebman wanting to know the status of my package. all i get is "it should be there, it's in the mail." a week later (we both shipped USPS priority. it is 3 days transit time for delivery), my package arrives...with a pandora battery. so out of the box he could use his laser, but i have to do component repair to use my psp. alot more cross words were exchanged and we agreed NOT to do business with again.

Sounds like you guys are about even.

Big props to John Lawson. He build me a 120mw PHR modual. The work was exelent and it made it to my house in 4 days. One day earler than promised. I wouldnt hesitate to do business with him again.

You forgot to mention the part where you called my house and left those messages threatening me, and stalking my facebook.

It was NOT MY FAULT [highlight]YOU DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO OPERATE THE PSP[/highlight] in order for it to work, instead you send me a PM calling me a scammer and a liar, then you realize that it did infact work perfectly fine, You were just to stubborn to ASK me how to work it.....

Like I said NUMEROUS times before, the deal is done, we BOTH got our stuff.

as soon as you got the laser,  you said i sold you a flashlight and that i didn't work.

You just couldn't figure out how to focus the beam. ::)
you sent me a battery that had the ground pin BROKEN off of one of the IC's making it a Pandora battery (pandora batteries will not power on a PSP by the way.) had to do a verrrrry meticilous soldering job to make the battery even work.

i did call your house, because once you got your package, your concern about me getting my package went WAY down. not responding to emails, and PM's. you had your package and were still holding mine for some unknown reason before you would ship it when this happened.

what's done is done! won't ever happen again though.
don't say i didn't tell you so.

i agree we are even. and NOW it's done.
 
I'd say I haven't had a good transaction with rebman-- I sent him cash (probably not the best thing to do) for a psp and well... "he never received it"...
 
I've had a good buyer experience since joining this forum from Ben74 when purchasing his green 5mw CNI. He posted the item promptly, bubblewrapped; it got to me quickly and most importantly it works :)

A seller I would be happy to trade with again.

MB500 is good person to buy from. If he ever offers a trade rest assured you'll get what he promised. I bought his nova 125 alpha and was not disappointed.

Just had a good experience with Phoenix77.. He gave me some GITD dust caps for Aixiz modules. I had started the thread as a WTB, but he didn't need any $$. I sent him some cash to cover shipping only, and he was quite happy.. Good experience all around! Thanks Phoenix!

I know the argument is old, but I couldn't help thinking that you and WonHungLo might have made deals on the very same PSP..
 
Well, my experience has been:

-Jayrob: Extremely helpful and friendly, best quality workmanship I've seen on lasers.

-Drew: Easy to deal with, good stuff, but the solder points on my diode were weak; my laser broke twice as they both broke and I had to fix them. Just some constructive criticism. All in all, good prices, fast shipping, good guy.

-Daguin: Great to deal with, very generous and kind.

-Drlava: Great shipping and product, everything in order!

-Tripnip3: Sold him a PS3 diode. Money arrived promptly, I'm ashamed to say it took me 3 days to get the diode shipped out. Sorry about that! Seems like a good, honest guy.

I haven't had a bad trade experience yet.
