He sold me a nice phr-803t sled, harvested the BR LD, inserted it into an aixiz module, and even soldered lead wires to the LD for me, all at a very good price!

I had an alright experience with member jake21.

The good:

Good price on what seems to be a decent build

The bad:

Coomunication effectively stopped as soon as he had my money

The ugly:

Despite being assured that the order would have tracked shipping, the response I (finally) got was something like:

"trust me mail does not deliver fast u will have it soon i asked the lady for tracking but does not look like she added it on "

Overall, Jake did deliver, and everything seems kosher, but the lack of communication would make me a little less likely to deal with him again, unless he was offering something I couldn't get elsewhere (I'd be willing to pay a few dollars more for something if it was coming from someone who communicates well, for peace of mind)

I was in need of a flexdrive before they might be back in stock, and he kindly offered to let me buy one from his stock, and offered it at a great price.

He packaged and shipped promptly and was responsive and helpful with questions I had.

I have gotten some great lasers from people here such as daguin, kenom, napalm_fire and catmandoo. Just as important is the information and direction from these guys as well... Dave you are the best!!!

I would also like to thank drew (andrew) for a recent trade for his Scorpius. Super nice person with great communication.

I have been very pleased with the professionalism and communicative nature of the people here at LPF. I belong to several forums on the web and LPF is in the top three that I have to visit almost every day.

O.K. quite possibly not a SKAMMER ALERT! Desubot bought from me and got the sled on Jan 2 '09 with no communication the buy was charged back! This looks like we may have another Skammer!

Also He came over and after talking, I am pretty sure he's an O.K. Guy!

Bluray's shipping is REALLLLLLLLLLLLY SLOW I live in Australia (where he lives too) its been TWO WEEKS since he sent it and it's STILL not here I mean what hell.

He said it usally take 3 days 5 days max but its been TWO WEEKS.

Blurays shipping is slow as a snail on crack.

My friend was talking to me about a laser he bought from some guy called Ausdavo now he recieved it and turned out he's been scammed.

He recieved some random magic trick thing.
So in the end don't buy from people that have only been on the forum for like a day.

thanks for the kind words angel. there are also a few other members here that do very good jobs at helping other members. drlava for example...when his drivers are in stock he ships fast and has great products. dark-horse is another great member...dealt with all these members and they are all top notch... dave(daguin) is also another great member here too. he sells great lasers...well used to. i think hes quitting soon though.
