'Tis a Sad State of Affairs

I can only jump in and agree that the first thing the thieves are going to do with the laser pointers they stole is shine them in each others eyes. Almost half a watt of green makes for some beautiful poetic justice.
 





Wow thats unbelievable how that happened to ya Dave. Hopefully theyll do something stupid and get themselves arrested with the lasers and you would be able to track them down.

I really hope some justice comes out of this for you....


Hopefully things will get better!

What about a donation thread, if everyone donated 10 USD I'm sure you'd some of your money back and that might ease the pain a little.

I have been through most of the "stuff "that you are experiencing and it ain't fun  :-[

Why oh why did you leave the house ? You should of insisted that she removed herself and moved in with her "boyfriend".
Leaving your home sweet home might come back to haunt you in the end (if this is in fact the end)
 
Sorry Darkrose, I see you ran into my ad ;) at least plenty of us are looking.

Granted losing lasers is nothing compared to passports and everything else. There has been one thing I've been wondering. Did the RPL have batteries in it? Did any of the lasers lost have batteries or chargers? Probably too much to remember.

Glad to see you are taking everything so well Dave. A true inspiration. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Dave that really sucks, I'm sorry to hear about what happened, I will DEFINITLY keep a look out on eBay for you and a few other sites to see if anything pops up... Must be a real kick in the balls knowing they are going to chuck away your diodes that would piss me off more than them being stolen :(

Well I hope some luck shifts your way mate and things start to brighten up a little :)
 
A quick thing dave - the RPl uses an 18650 doesn't it. Those batteries aren't common, so the people might have some trouble using it after the batteries run out.
 
The RPL's were stored with both their batteries and chargers :(

Yes, the thing that saddens me the most is that as soon as they open the package of diodes and drivers, they will throw them away :'(

They will probably also throw away all of the empty hosts that were in the box they got. (Newwish, Core, MXDL W/heat sink, complete Dorcy "kit")

What a waste :'(
