The Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

If you perceive her as rotating clockwise then you are a right brain persona and anti-clockwise implies left brain person. IE a person whose actions are dominated by that particular part of the brain.

Left brain are apparently more logical, whereas right brain are more intuitive and feeling. I come out as right brain.

LEFT BRAIN FUNCTIONS
  • uses logic
  • detail oriented
  • facts rule
  • words and language
  • present and past
  • math and science
  • can comprehend
  • knowing
  • acknowledges
  • order/pattern perception
  • knows object name
  • reality based
  • forms strategies
  • practical
  • safe

RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS
  • uses feeling
  • "big picture" oriented
  • imagination rules
  • symbols and images
  • present and future
  • philosophy & religion
  • can "get it" (i.e. meaning)
  • believes
  • appreciates
  • spatial perception
  • knows object function
  • fantasy based
  • presents possibilities
  • impetuous
  • risk taking

Both for me.

...And if she doesn't start "spotting", she'll face-plant from dizziness in no time...;)

P.S. I looked long enough to see the change from right to left, and back again, etc.

I can make it change but it takes a lot of effort. First glimpse was anti-clockwise, so I'd go with left-brained. Might be confirmation bias, but left fits me better. Any scientific basis behind this? Seems more a test of how your visual perception works to me.

Hm normally in such optical tests or illusions I can change it depends on how I look.
But this one I can only see clockwise.
Even though from the adjectives I'm the total "left brain guy"
Strange thing for me here ;)

OMG you can make it change:)
For me this is what I did?

Normal just looking I see her as moving clockwise

Now just start thinking about something other then what way she is spinning.
Do some mathematical problems in your head? Or think about some errands you need to do later. Or just think about her bobbies;)

She will then change her direction

Well, originally it was anti-clockwise, then I scrolled down to read the rest, and only her feet were visible and then it was clockwise.

Do not try to see the dancer spin one way or the other.

Only realize, that there is no dancer . . . .

I, obviously, needs me some Matrix

Peace,
dave

Down left here (IE, the front face is the bottom-left). The cube is one that's much easier to "pop" into one perspective or another for me.

With the cube, I immediatly see it down. But I can change it to up or down quite easily.
