Re: For Sale, Scratch Built 445 1.3W (lots of pics)
Absolutely fantastic! You should have no problem getting what you are asking. I wish I had a bigger budget, you would be boxing her up right now!
Great job!
I hear ya... I wanted to keep this, but the bills come first..
Best >1 watt 445nm laser I have seen to date. Truly a work of art. Nicely done. If it werent for the car I just bough i would buy this in a heart beat.
Well, if you sell it, you can buy it :eg:
I really like this host. Would you happen to have any similar ones maybe lacking the safety features and indicator led, but in all aluminum? If so, what kind of pricing would you want, if not then what kind of pricing on making me something like that? I am only looking for the host (and maybe the lenses/focus assembly).
At the moment they take far too long to produce.. I may offer kits eventually but for the time
being I will only be selling them completed..
I like the looks of that host. You have a winner there.
Hey Wannaburn....
Freakin' Sexy clean lines on that host...
The copper finned front end really sets it off as pure eye candy...
And it has safety features to be more in line with the way hosts
should be built...
Well.... you've impressed me.....:gj:
Is that a product of your new lathe....
Jerry
Thats the new lathe indeed.. Moving from a 7x8 to a 10x18 makes a world of difference.
The key switch I think is a must for selling anything that is RTR.. Especially class 4.
Wannaburn that is a AWESOME:drool: from scratch build man! Excellent work!
thanks.
Thanks man.. a lot of time put into this one..
As Always WB. I admire your Work. You seem to move up every time you make a New Laser.:gj:

Appreciate the comments.. You know what they say.. Practice makes perfect. Going from a hobby
lathe to something more professional allows one to advance by leaps an bounds.
Wow!
If that's a prototype, sign me up for the production model.
One question though... why unprotected batteries?
With this particular laser, the unprotected 18650's were used when sizing it up.
I forgot to account for a longer battery, so protected cells are just too long :banghead:
WOW!!! I'm nearly speechless.
I have never consider spending nearly $400.00 for a laser....until now. This would be worth every penny of that.
It will make its new owner happy im sure.. You get what you pay for is the golden
rule, and a warranty to make sure you stay happy..
Thanks for all the comments guys... Sprained my finger while working on this
one, been out of commission for nearly a week.. Hoping to get some more done this weekend.
