Sale thread/ Hosts/Heat Sinks/Focus adapters/lasers

Ok gotcha, I looked at your signature and for some reason skipped over all your 405 builds:whistle:
Alaskan, yeah at times Laser Chick was treated a bit rude, but she never admitted to being a WL seller or re seller and was seen to use the LPF as her personal advertiser..
She also "asked for reps" at some point if you remember. She must of sold her stock as its been years since her last post..
A way's back I came across an ebay vendor who sold a variety of products not laser related and just some WL products that fit Laser chicks mini bio to a tee..

Oh yes also ditto to what Bowtie said and sorry for getting off track Rich..

I asked for reps too, when on my mission to raise all of the boats, I needed more reps to do that and now it's crazy! I just thought she was treat too rudely, but you are right, she did use LPF to sell stuff, wasn't here for anything else. She had a yellow laser with a nice beam expander I sure wish I had bought when it was available.

Hi Guys ,
No Derail say what you will thats whats were here for. Were like family here cheers to the weekend.

Rich:)

I BM,
Thanks Buddy for the boost. Should be done with two hosts 1x10440 and 1X14500 powder coated White. Some silicon caps I ordered are coming tomorrow to cover the threads, makes it easier than masking.

Rich:)

I agree, I've also always liked the white W/L Sonars, that reminded me to see if I could find mine, as I haven't had it out in a very long time.

Here is a pic of mine, it shows how nice white can look on a host, even though it has that funky label on it. I'm kind of hesistant to remove it as it was put on at the factory and has the serial number on it. :undecided:

@Rich, I'd definitely try a white powder coated host, I think it would look pretty classy! :yh:

Awesome Jeff, cheers for the photo
I haven't seen one for so long! For me this is the best laser w/l released and one of the most underrated looking lasers around. It's fantastic with the white and for along time I wanted this host with a 473nm Dpss module installed, blue & White fit like no other imo!
Looking forward to what Rich can create :D

J

Hi J,
Yes in White folks are replying about. waiting on some caps for the threads tomorrow should be posting a 1x10440 and a 1x14500 with a key switch ..

Rich:)

Thanks jnrpop, it's one of my favorite looking hosts also!
I'm looking forward to Rich's efforts too, I'll bet he is going to turn out some beautiful looking white hosts, get em while you can. ;) ;) :D

Rich, make some hosts which have a large enough chamber inside to fit some small mirrors, a PBS cube and or a knife edge assembly :)

I will be one of your regular customers for those :)

I'm having something like this built, but would be interested in your version of it too.

Hi Alaskan,
Ok got so basically its a 2x26650 tube and a heat sink to take a 20mm DTR CU mod. and the front is a huge 100mm long AL cylinder with a 35mm bore for all the goodies. And the front threaded for a Sanwu BE. This will be a challenge .

Rich:)

It's one of these with bigger batteries and that elliptical chamber sandwiched into the middle of the heat sink, but this host uses two 18650's and would work well too. With a chamber this big inside, you could choose to use the DTR module in the back near the switch to shoot through beam correcting optics, or add more diode modules inside like lasertack.com or optlasers sells to knife edge, PBS cube or what ever.

I thought about using a round disk chamber instead which would be easier to fabricate, but it wouldn't look as cool as an elliptical chamber. The metal floor of the chamber would need to be thick enough to allow heat transfer out, if mounting those small square diodes modules to the floor of it inside, and a good coupling to the finned heat sink cylinder on the top and bottom. I assume the chamber would probably be a separate piece which slides into a slot in the host, or the host split into two pieces which are bolted around the chamber which is both dust tight and has a good thermal coupling to the body of the host/fins to get rid of that heat. The chamber doesn't need to have 35 mm of room inside, only needs enough room to fit the common mirror and diode mounts we use, maybe a 20 mm would be more than enough and the length much shorter than 100 mm. I drew the dimensions for a huge one to house some laser range finder boards I wanted to use in a host, but that size not needed for most projects.

Hi LPF,
Here is a White coated Mod for sale 1X1860 side button prewired and an AL sink. The catch is it has two small imperfections very light, but overall not a bad host. Make me a reasonable offer +7.20 2nd day priority mail.

Thanks Rich:)

Hey Rich, your first white powder coated host came out real nice, I'm sure it will sell quickly, remember, white goes with any wavelength. :D
