Just have to ask, was that Arcane you repaired one of "the Jokers" build

Weren't they all? Seems like a much longer time ago than it actually was. I never bought a build from the Joker, but I never buy builds from anyone as I prefer to build them myself.

Oh yes it was first time it came to me for a diode failure but it was only the driver a chip asian type. Then when the customer received it it worked fro a little while before he sent it back. This time it was the switch that went bad. I repaired that . Than something else went on it then the customer gave up on it. I offered to but it from him but that fell through.

Also a big fan of white , Most likely due to the white sonar wickedlasers released all those years ago, and the >$2000 price tag it had upon release :beer:

I agree, I've also always liked the white W/L Sonars, that reminded me to see if I could find mine, as I haven't had it out in a very long time.

Here is a pic of mine, it shows how nice white can look on a host, even though it has that funky label on it. I'm kind of hesistant to remove it as it was put on at the factory and has the serial number on it. :undecided:

@Rich, I'd definitely try a white powder coated host, I think it would look pretty classy! :yh:

Wow, that thing is fancy!! Thanks for the pic. I had a Wickedlaser Core once but lost it. It was a nice pointer though, I liked it.

@Red, I agree, these were way expensive when bought new from W/L, but I picked this one up here from Laser Chick who was reselling NOS Wicked Lasers. Photo below showing a few what she was selling; obviously my Sonar is the one at the top.
I'm generally not a fan of W/L, but a few of those that she had cought my eye and I grabbed them.

If I remember correctly, the output on this one was higher, somewhere around 264 mW or so. I'll check to be sure.

I remember when she was here selling, some members treated her rather rudely, I thought. The forum has changed since those days, not in attack mode so much these days.

Oh yeah, I remember, she caught a lot of crap because she came here and started selling the dreaded W/L brand, and also some thought she was scamming, but I had nothing but good dealings with her, everything I purchased was as advertised or better, I'd buy from her again.
