Sale thread/ Hosts/Heat Sinks/Focus adapters/lasers

Hi Alaskan,
Yes for a single mode pen really no need for an additional switch. At only over 100+ mW's we are in the safe zone with it.

Rich:)

Watch out, a well known veteran member will come nip us in the butt for having that opinion :p - I just worry about accidental fire, low powers aren't something I am concerned about at infinity focus.

Nice Laser P0rń, Rich. I’m digging these pens you’re coming out with. I need a couple side clickies in my life. I’ve been watching the tracking everyday on the heatsink

Shotgun when ever your ready I’m here buddy

@ GSS
Yes it is a brass button I machine them to fit the builds pal

Rich:)

Hi,
Here is a NDB7875/2X10440/G2/ SXD 2.2 mA soft start delayed /Side button Enjoy

Rich:)

Hi BM,
Thanks buddy its a twist and you can see the beam out the front,
Hey if you like that check this one out i just finished , Its a full copper 495nm diode /1X14500.3 element lens/Side button..

Rich:)

I'm so tempted on these two Rich. How much Mac&Cheese are you asking ? :D

:bumpit:-ity :bumpit: :bumpit: :bumpit:

About a third of the way through. This is a great way to find stuff you think you’ve lost! :D

Hi BM,
Yes indeed and a lot of stuff you haven’t used in years. Time to thin out the heard. That’s what I did when I moved gave away a lot of the extra load.

Rich:)

This is why you have kids and friends (slave labor). :D

Hey Rich, I won some diodes at auction the other night from Techhood, a 35mw 505nm, a 30mw 520nm and a 1000mw NDG7475.

I want to build out the 7475 first and I almost always make my own hosts but I was thinking about something a little nicer for this one.

Do you have anything on hand ?

I want to use a full copper 12mm module with a 1.8a x drive behind it so I need about 1.5 inches of heat sink beyond the springboard.

Hi Red,
Are you looking for a flashlight build or a custom, And do you need to heat sink the driver? And what material ?, AL,CU or AL with a CU core. Let me know.

Rich:)

That 505nm diode is case positive. Because it has a high Vf, the only driver that works with it is the Blitz Linear Driver from SL. They can be a PITA to set up.

I was thinking about this one but it says 3.0v in, I wonder if it can take 4.2v in which under load would be a little less.....maybe 3.0 is the minimum in ?

If not a couple of alkaline C cells should run a 30mw for a long time.

I bought that driver some time ago. It is a continuous negative boost driver that is constant voltage, not current. So, even if it worked, you couldn't use it for a case positive diode anyway. You won't find a boost driver that will work for this diode, but there is an obsolete Switched X-Drive that would work if the input was high enough. Really, the Blitz Linear Driver is the only one around that you can use with this diode.
