Sale thread/ Hosts/Heat Sinks/Focus adapters/lasers

Hi Paul,
That will be great if that 495nm comes through ok. I would be interested in it if testing is positive . greta news to hear.

Rich:)

Hi,
Yes its a true 505nm diode one of the ones i had sent to Paul for evaluation . Its in a new Ehgumus host i had in mothballs and never had a chance to build. Here are some pics

The "495nm" diodes are ~$150.00 each, but I was looking at the site and if they pan out and can get 22 together in a group buy it looks like the price falls to ~$45.00 each. Still have to get it and test it, though.

That is all I'm waiting for is it to get here so I can test it. Will let everyone know what I find out. :)

Hi Red,
The thread for the Sanwu BE is larger that 10.4x0.5mm , if DTR's 20mm sink is threaded for a M9x0.5mm lens the i can just drill and tap direct to the 20mm DTR sink. Then youcan screw the BE directly to the 20mm sink. The Sanwu thread is M12X.75

Hi Folks,
Well while i'm at it here are a few pics of a Aluminum pen host ,1x10440/ 510/515nm X-Boost .G2 lens.

Rich:)

Copper is so soft and the threaded male end of the BE is really short, I'm starting to think a heatsink drilled for a standard 12mm module with a few mm of wider threads at the end for the BE would be better, I will PM you so as not to fill up this thread, Thanks. :)

A 1.5 inch diameter length of aluminum round barstock with a 12mm hole for a standard module and driver with the front end of the hole widened and tapped for the BE would work well, this also lets me swap out diodes easily, so I am thinking a 2.5 inch length of 1.5 inch diameter round barstock would work well for me as I already have housings.
---edit---
Could be fancy and turn some groves in the front 1 inch of the heatsink leaving the back 1.5 inches smooth. :D

Very nice little pen build, Rich. I imagine with all that power it has a very limited duty cycle.

Hi Paul ,
not that bad with the momentary switch and i left a little more meat up front. The driver has a ramp up feature also Thanks for the kudos Paul always a pleasure buddy.

Rich:)

Hi,
Thank you so much , for the tail cap i drilled a hole and drove in a copper rivet solid for the ground.
