Rich:)

Nice. That's a whole lot of blue photons in your basement. :gj:

Best wishes with your sale. Somebodys going to get a heck of a laser!

Hey, Rich. Do you have any 501B hosts with the usual heat sink made of aluminum at a reasonable price? I would want it sent dissembled as they tend to stick with the paint on them and I don't need to try to take them apart as the last one got scratched badly.

Hi,
Thank you BM hope it goes to a good home buddy, this is a hefty sink with 2x18650's great host for the 44 power and a recessed adapter.

@ Paul sent you an email buddy.

Rich:)

Thanks, Rich. I'm still trying to figure out how to get the green one you sent me apart. I'm thinking maybe a heat gun and freeze spray. The green paint has caused it to stick together and I don't want to scratch this one.

Hi,
If i make that extended sink for the host i will send it to you apart so you can assemble it your self a green one to

Rich:)

I hope you don't go to the trouble of making one of your beautiful extended heat sinks, as in this case, it isn't necessary. Just the small aluminum heat sink will be sufficient to pull out waste heat from a 130 mW build. I have an extra 503nm green I want to put into a host rather than allow it to gather dust. Thank you, Rich. :yh:

Hi,
Ok to late done worked out doors today so i needed some quality time and this is it. I'll give you the get well price cheap.30.00 bucks + 7.15 2 day shipping thats about the price of a 505 diode. :sold:

That's reasonable. I don't have your PP address. If you could PM me with it, I'll get $37.50 out to you ASAP. :thanks:

I got the host today, Rich. It is perfect. I have three diodes that are below 505nm and one that is almost exactly 502nm. I am going to put that one in this host with the Nano boost driver I just got from Jordan. Should make a really awesome bluish green build. I have a sticker for it from Rivem too. Might be a couple of days before I can put it altogether with Thanksgiving being tomorrow, but I'm thinking of taking some photos of it and the 477nm build I did to show in a new thread. Thanks, buddy.

Hi Paul,
Glad you like it there's nothing like a nice heat sink with mass for the 501B's . These hosts are compact and as a plus they can use multiple battery configurations . 1X18650 or 2X18350's

These hosts are underrated but even with a full copper or a Aluminum with a copper core they can hold down some larger diodes. Cant wait to see your completed build.
Enjoy my pleasure to machine it for you.

Rich:)

It is greatly appreciated, Rich. My 477nm also is in a 501B with your focus knob on the front. So, both builds will have your hand in them. :yh:

Hi Paul,
two great diodes going to be nice to see them fired up. Just made this one brass and copper 1X14500..
For sale... :thanks::sold::sold:

Yeah, but that's too long for me. I like to put 26650s in where you need that much extra power. I'm sure a copper heat sink would make it sufficient to deal with the extra heat, but, in the past, I relied on larger aluminum heat sinks.

hi Paul.:bumpit: For sale...
I made a 2X26650 host and yours truly Alaskan scooped it up . Well i will make another one in AL with a copper core. Just made this today , 2 X18350 and 1X 18650 prewired with 24AWG silicon wire. Enjoy buddy. :thanks::sold:

Rich:)
