RC Toys?

Hi guys anyone here into RC toys as well ?
Right now im in the middle of a RC heli project as well : )

I LOVE them ! I am just so damned wrapped up in my laser hobby that I do not have time for them I need to get my mico-copter out and start buzzing the cats again LOL !!!

I have a dragonfly (walkera) r/c helicopter but i haven't used it much in the past months. It's small and difficult to control, but i really like it.

I am pretty much into The bigger toys. I used to build them and then sell them. I have been sitting on a Tiger || now for about a year. The lasers seem to get all of my cash now.

I have a pair of Century hummingbird helis I need to get going. One is an Airwolf...I put LED's on it too. The other one is converted with a fan in the tail...it is very stable. They both have Razor brushless motors, I have only been able to get to the point of hovering...lol.

I also have quite a few R/C trucks and cars, and one of those tanks that shoots pellets..lol Everything I have is battery powered...no nitro.

ya timelord, lots of people have those i have seen!!!!! they are awesome little things, but the steering is crap isn't it?? have you seen the rc plane that is made of foam like those things??

With practice you can steer them quite well but you must get the counterweight on the nose weighted right.

I didn't know so many people were into the RC hobby here! Though, I'm a nitro car guy. I've been looking to get a heli but I don't have the $$ and I don't want to crash the thing.

I used to scratch build these, wheels, motor and body are the only standard items.

It would be cool to see a couple big choppers with lights on flying at night.
maybe even have a bright laser mounted on them and dogfight with another.

You know, as I was reading this, (esp after reading about somone mounting LEDs on one) I though to myself 'coultnt you mount a laser on one?' lol I used to play with RC cars when I was a kid, but I got into computers as a profession, and Lasers and SFX as hobies, and dont have the moeny or time for the REAL RC toys. I'd love an RC helicopter that I coudl mount a RF camera in and fly it that way! lol, maybe when I win the lotto... (lol)

lol i used to make RC petrol planes, and i made about 20 of them,sadly i sold them, due to there is no where to fly them here :'( :'( :'( :'(

yea im thinkin about buying a himoto syclone. for 200$ tops at 60mph and the vids look really nice. i love the vid where a kid jumps it over his house with a sk8 ramp lol
