Once I put ubuntu onto an old old computer with nearly the same specs as this (~700mhz, 196mb ram) and it ran really slow.
....
So basically what I'm saying is I doubt this thing will run a full distro of ubuntu very well.
If it was over a 1Ghz maybe. ~700Mhz is kind of week.
At only 128mb of ram it won't run any of the newer windows versions. You may get win2000/ME to run but it would be kinda slow.
Once I put ubuntu onto an old old computer with nearly the same specs as this (~700mhz, 196mb ram) and it ran really slow. It took over 15+ seconds to open any program, firefox took around 30 seconds for a blank window to pop up and another fifteen for it to completely open.
Hmm, yeah. I have used Linux before... but I just prefer Windows.
£2,050 ($3194 usd) for #10. :san: Liz messed up the listing for #9 & 10 so they are only listed on ebay.co.uk but anyone can still bid. There are 5-6 days left for bidding and one is already at ~$1000.00

I like how XBMC (tv media player) didn't seem interested in an port at all... Then they heard the RasPi storm approaching. Perhaps a little fear of being left behind.
Now they even posted a video of them correcting the beta boards. Hope we get a video of pick & place too at some point.
