Your first car, first kiss, first child alright those are certainly milestones in ones life... lets consider your first 12x 405nm.:D

This one is a SF-BW512 (thanks to member morgan for that)
I had the host already in mind when I received the diode.

I have it set at 412mA using lavas flexV5 it's drawing .648mA from 3 10440s set in parallel. I'm using an Aixiz 405nm full barrel lens.

Having a hard time putting this one down:wave:
It's a hardiman host from hom*d*pot

Beamz:beer:some cigar smoke Backwoods brand berry flav.

This is a very dangerous unit I would recommend eye protection and a safe lasing environment and as always never point at aircraft.
Thanks for looking and enjoy:thanks:

No noticeable heat after a 3min run... Thank you for the compliments. The white part of the host is ceramic, I belive... that is something you don't get everyday.

I'm very happy with this build I mounted the driver to the led board using 3m thermal
adhesive padding I usually do this with a penny under it, but no need with this unit.
at 412 mA the 12x and driver are virtually producing no heat.

@ millirad your close to vet status... good job

Nice build, you should be proud, but....
That barrel/tube holding the battery gives my eyes cancer.:barf:
Plus, it would look attractive to little children, me thinks.

Just my worthless opinion though, don't mean to offend you.

Receiving your opinion... no worries, we all have our different tastes.

I would say that it's a typical hardiman print or style. It has roses and
skull/bones with a mad dog :) it's suppose to be like a tattoo.

Not to worried about little kids getting to it I'm not likely to leave a 12x just laying around.

Very nice! I'm glad you are happy with it.

I would've posted sooner but interwebz not been behaving lately...

Thanks for posting the figures in the GB thread too, it'll be a good place to use as a data store for this batch. If you ever get an mW reading then let us know...

Good goin'!
