No plans, just have wanted 10 watts of DPSS green for years. It's a toy. Perhaps I could excite some dye to make yellow, should be enough pump power to make 2 or 3 watts of golden coherent light, but that is a big project and not cheap either.

I can sell them for less. I've been pretty impressed with this driver. They work very well with the NUBM44's. PM me if interested.

If they could be had even in lots of 10,000 units the Chinese would buy and resell on ebay......however you never know, I would be in for a group buy.
 
It all smells fishy to me. If it was legit, we would have seen them pop up somewhere for sale.

There are dozens of oddball and "miracle" diodes listed in catalogs and that site, none of which have ever seen the light of day, and no magic "Buy Now" button.

And there's a good reason for that me thinks.
 
They do exist, makers such as N Company can make them but they are expensive in small batches, if there were mainstream uses where thousands were made then we could get some for cheap.....I suspect they don't have them on hand in any quantity, rather they make them to suit the OEM who orders them.

Huh well there you go.

Perhaps these kinds of things do exist but of course the factories that make them is the nut to crack.
