My concern with this, Chris, is that many of these meters have sensors that were culled because they were worn out. You have to be extra careful when purchasing these higher power sensors. Many are dumped on eBay because the people selling them got them for free.

Yea, I saw that too and don’t like that oblitteration of the surface, if that is the only problem shoot at a different spot.

So far, all of my ebay LPM’s have been good, but always a risk. Work out a return option as part of the offer, if they agree not so risky.

Yeah, pretty sure he/she/they is a scammer. Ordered a laser bank of NUBM08's to just play around with in odd hosts. Was supposed to be new, but got this. Beat up all the way around. Maybe they used a chainsaw to get out of projector or something. Lenses look like they may have been exposed to a desert storm or 5. Almost opaque. At the time it was $135 with free shipping. Now, $150 +$300 shipping.

I have edited the above post as the seller issued a prepaid return shipping label and fully refunded my order. The seller was very cordial and helpful in resolving the error they made. Really was first class customer service. I believe the error was an honest mistake. I definitely will give this vendor first consideration in my next laser related purchase.

That lens coating looks awful dark, it's likely for a setup that's illuminated by an IR laser/light source so the coating may be IR

I like IR beam expanders as much as visible. Have a use for either and many wavelengths of IR are of interest to me too.

Found another, seven available. I have some of these already and this is the lowest price I've seen for them, half or less than I've paid for them before. I wouldn't use more than 1.5 watts through them though, I tried 4 watts at 532 nm and burned the AR coating on the input lens.

These work fine for 520 nm too, likely will work well across a portion of the visible wavelength range.
