PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please sub

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

10mW. Not a lot of power for the money so not worth it.

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

Shame. You can get 100mW for ~$20.

I know I'm late to this party, but I thought immediately it was far overpriced. I didn't think it would have much of an output power, but thought it would be higher than 10 mW. At over $100 with shipping, it is not something I would be interested in.

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

Dam, I thought it was at least 40mw if not maybe 140mw, for 3.3v and 1.1a input those are about wore slap out, the 90.00 price is highway robbery, 9.95 would be a fair price.....I suppose asking 100.00 was even too much for the seller to sleep with, but 90.00 LOL, probably dug that crap out of a trash can anyway.

---edit---

I thought 3B was 500mw, I suppose it's 6mw to 500mw ?

I think it is 5 mW to 500 mW. Class 3A is up to 5 mW, IIRC.

Yes Class 3a is <5mW. That pic that you shared Robert has some inaccuracies. They seem to think that that 3a and 3b needs to be under 0.5mW. Meant to be 5 and 500.

I don't know if 400mw @ 532nm DPSS is real or not but for 15 bucks why not, I grabbed a couple, thought about buying them all but maybe the gods of good luck will smile upon me if I share, only 6 left and 18 hours on the sale, seller has 100% FB

For 15 bucks who cares, roll the dice, sale ends in 18 hours and seller has almost 9000 sales and 100% FB.

I have advertised 200mw 532's that I paid 100.00 for just a couple years ago, they are doing around 125mw, I may buy a couple more so get em while there hot. :D

WOW here's another seller with them, what's going on ? Ok they are calling it " LINE " laser rather than " DOT " and it may have a line lens, that's great as I have trays of lenses, just remove the line generator and make a zoom lens set up or set at infinity, it's really not a big deal, just that they used to cost so much for less it's hard to pass up, and DPSS can have great beam quality, when not mode hopping that is. ;)

Hmm I just noticed the input current, according to that these would be more like 75 - 100mw, well those specs are often wrong, if it's not putting out at least a 1/4 watt of something I will bend their ear.

I’ve been speaking with lily or these sellers for a few days trying to get them to LPM a 200mw module for me and they keep stalling sending me links to 300mw
240v modules with a fan, They have these 200mw rated black heatsinks with small driver but they tell me there 150mw they can’t seem to find me a 200mw
Power tested module,

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com.au/ulk/itm/232109657078

I wanted to pull the module out for a handheld but the claimed 200mw it isn’t it seems, now if this isn’t 200mw I doubt very much the simple modules are!

Why is it so hard to get a 200-400mw module,
When you can get a 800mw module from Lasever for $300!

Hey Alaskan!
I nearly bought this halfnote a few days ago for $200 What eever did you do with the one you purchased and did you get 2.5w out, I would have needed tec controllers and a current power supply but was very tempted just to play around with a 20w diode,

Do you have any pics of yours running not the pics already on the net!

If this were real, the smallest pump diode it would have to use would be 2 watts. If you look at the operating voltage and current these can't put out more than 80 mW. I can see this seller getting 100% feed back if he never gets called out or, when he does the buyer gets a refund. Once you are refunded, your feedback never gets posted.

I noticed the input current after the fact and posted about it, I used to look at it 1st thing however it's been a while since I bought a 532 as I have a bunch of them, that said these specs are notoriously wrong in these ads so I will do a power test when I get them, they are cool looking and for 30 bucks I take a chance, if they are only 100mw for 15 bucks each it's no big loss, I accepted that up front.

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

Good luck on that projector, Len. I hope you get it cheap. I just got a brand new NDG7475 for $84.00. I was hoping to get it for less as the auction ended this morning at 1:05 A.M., but there is no way of telling ahead of time. I believe with the number of these Techhood and their other companies are offering these at auction, they can be had cheaper, but I'm not unhappy. Take care, buddy.

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

LOL you and I were watching the same items I bet, did you score anything else ?

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

Not yet, but I was really hoping to get it for less. Must have been too many people watching that same diode. It was stuck at $73.00 up until midnight when I went to bed. I would have been far more pleased if it had gone for that. I see there are plenty of others being auctioned. I will have to see if there are any other items I might be interested in.

Edit: I went back and checked. There were four people bidding on that one diode. Geess! No wonder it went so high. Still, it is a better price than buying one outright.
