I can't prove that once I said I was bidding on an item that later was sniped by a snipping app during the last second of the auction was someone here. Only that once I stopped claiming an item for myself, the snipping seemed to stop and I won more bids. Often it is impossible to discern who won the bid, but I have had fewer problems once I stopped bringing the items to the forum's common knowledge. I don't believe that everyone here doesn't honor this system, but feel a few may actually take advantage of a great deal if they are made aware of it. Not all were lasers, so the chance of seeing it in someone's signature becomes far less likely.

For myself, if I want something on ebay I rarely bring it here, unless I am fairly uncertain about buying it, or need help with technical info. If I know what it is and know I want it, no way i'm posting it here, we have a lot of lurkers here who aren't part of the forum.

This was delivered today. LPM is not available right now but it seems as bright as the Sanwu 532 100mw. Focus ring is the knurled piece seen on the bezel. Took it apart and lubed the threading for some dampening resistance. The star cap threading is not going to accept a 3x BE. Very slightly off angle beam.
There is an indicator light its green. The power button is a momentary button but the driver functions are costant on and slow pulsed. One press and release turn it on. Second time is slow pulsed and third press is off. For $20 I would say its unique and works well.

I would very much rather rely on an LPM test from at least 10 inches from the sensor. No one can accurately eye the power from a 532nm laser. It looks like the larger section at the head is just excess plastic and serves no useful purpose. At $19.00 each, I wouldn't order one unless I knew there is a significant power increase over the 303s.

Its all metal. Its different from the normal tube 532s. $20 ha a drop in the bucket. Neat focusing mechanism. But this isn't the laser for you fine all good. Can't measure it yet but really don't care. Its an eBay laser around 100mw with a different approach for $20. Its a deal.

I look at that nice wide diameter end and think, hmmm.... can I remove the tiny collimation lens from it and then put black extension tube on it with a large diameter plano convex lens to use as the collimator? The size might lend itself to such, that would make a very low divergence fat beam laser which would also look nice, if it can be done.

What is the diameter of the end? is it completely metal except for the crown shaped end?

Yes, a single line DPSS laser. These are as narrow a line width you can get with an incredible coherence length. I wish I had the funds to make an offer, but such is life.

They came up for 1/3rd of that price or less frequently. As do the 315s.

Wow, the beam diameter only 1/3 of a millimeter! mRad isn't low at 2.5, but expand that beam to 1 mm and it is very good.

Let me know if you somehow get it, Chris. I wonder if it has ever been used. He could have easily repacked it if he kept all the packing materials and claimed it as new. With one of these and a stable blue source, I could make full color holograms.

He responded to my all too cheap offer with a counter offer at 450, still, for what it originally cost that's not so much, is it. I'm not buying it, have other priorities. I thought I'd try, but my offer was far too low for him.
