JUST to fill you in on what I know about banner design - you are mostly speaking Greek to me (no offense intended to any Greek forum members). I posted my current banner, so along the same size, or bigger if it needs to be - colors do not matter, as I will select my background colors to mesh with the new banner. I know that I shall select at least one animated banner, and one non-animated banner - the POSSIBLE third banner might be either type, still not decided on that, so let your creative juices flow, I know I am not being too helpful in stating my objectives, THAT is how lost I am in the "BANNER WORLD", so simply stun me with creativity, and we will go with that ! I may PM the artist, asking for a refined banner, if the banner published is a "concept" banner, or rough draft....although that would not be an indication of winning, just to help me with helping you to know more of what I am looking for. since my product line is fairly generic (no slam on the inventors/originators of said products) I think something showing an approximation of 650/405nm beams, would be nice to see. Hope this helps to narrow down some info, and not to further confuse you !

Or you prefer something more elaborate, that involve all the banner and the background, or fading / shadowing ? (sorry, this is just a quick example, i was at work and had not too much time)

If the design and colors were different... All joking/etc aside - I will NOT copy anyone elses' design on purpose, nor will I condone "rip off" pictures, where basically just the wording is changed, but other than that, it's identical. I want something original ! And as much as I whine about others ripping off other people's work, I refuse to fall into that classification. Yeah, even if I end up with something lame of my own design. I've always operated my shop with the utmost honesty, and won't stoop lower for any reason :)

Oh - to illuminate, the above is NOT chewing anyone out, or soap boxish - simply answering a question in the most thorough way possible !

I'm gonna submit a banner later then, my designs usually just pop into my head when least expected :p

Greg, did you get to see the CNI banner I posted up there before?

Make it so....etc, etc, etc :) I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing all the entries - nobody should NOT enter, as I am an artistic idiot, I just might select one that might not make sense to others of higher education - my tastes vary, and I'm the boss, so what the heck !

Here's two ideas I have, can you please tell me SenKat_StoneTek which one you prefer, and then I will build on that theme.
I'm gonna be creating mine on a 3D software.
