I was going to create a new thread but decided it better to post here. My new member at the top of this list goes to my 532 lab. A hefty $1,200 for it and worth it. When I told my family members how much I spent for light they were about to hit me in the face :undecided:
I don't blame them

It is better to have discussion like this:
...
?: "Wow, how much does this thing cost?"
!: "It was expensive."
?: "Yes, but how much did you pay for that?"
!: "A lot."
?: "Amount, please..."
!: "Do you really want to hurt your chin when it hits ground and lose your eyeballs after I tell you that?"
?: "What?"
!: "Look, they are giving out free cookies overthere!"
..
That's to funny Radim, thanks for the chuckles.
How is the laser today? Do you still have it? If so, it would be interesting to see what it hits on an LPM after 8+ yearsWay back in 2008ish I spent $1300 on a new RPL-300. That was back when a 300mw green laser was damn near the best you could hope to have.
Last I checked, it hovered at a bit less than 200mw on full power. It seems that the output has fallen a bit over the years, but the beam specs are still very good. How is the laser today? Do you still have it? If so, it would be interesting to see what it hits on an LPM after 8+ years
The most expensive laser I have ever bought(so far) is an M140 build in a C6 host. It originally output about 2.3W and it's still outputting over 2W almost 5 years later.
