So i just got my fasttech modules in  I ordered three 50mW models i am just gonna put their average powers. Non were DOA BUT 2/3 module the ground lead fell off  So after soldering them back on i got this:
- one at 50mW precise
- one at 85mW precise
- one at 110mW precise
Diffraction? You know what we need Flaminpyro is some screw on caps for these. Kinda like a focus adapter but not for focusing.
Hey guys!
So in need of the flaminpyro screw on caps i got an idea. I adjusted a 5.6mm copper module as heatsink and end cap. For a cheap 100mW+ greenie i think it is awesome Especially as i did only have a pen host laying around without the silver end cap. i sanded of the inner and outer threads of the module and the 532nm module so i could press them together for a pressfit. Also i soldered on a spring. The entire module could then be presfitted into the host.
greetings,
Great work there, it looks fantastic! Will you varnish the end or do something else to prevent it from tarnishing? Also I see you were one of the lucky ones with a +100 mW module!
