Been thinking about the good old days. Pulled some some select pictures to share. They are in chronological order starting with my first build of a MXDL host from Jayrob and a A140 diode from Daguin through most all the builds I have done and other memorable moments.

First ever 2W

First 3W

X-Drive Arrives

I quit smoking.

First Green Diode appears

Green 1W diodes hit

First 5W

SXD Arrives

First 6W

500nm.:)))

And that there is a nice stroll down memory lane.:)

Re: Memory Lane

Great topic Jordan.

It's insane to think how far we've come technology & diode-wise.

My first "proper" A140 build..

And my first labby..

Would love to see everyone elses :)

Amazing collection Jordan!
This brings back a lot of "I remember that" moments; thanks for digging into the archives and sharing all the eye candy!

Great post!
I still have that green MXDL pen under "First Green Diode appears" and it's still going strong, BTW!

What's with the 500nm?

Wonderful builds you've made over the years. I especially like some of those tiny ones. So much power coming out of something the size of a finger is awesome.

And yes, what are you referring to as 500nm? I would throw all the money at anything close to that wavelength.

Great pics, what's the collector in front of this look like? Do you have a pic of one powered up with the lens and collector in place?

Nice presentation! Reminded me of when I went to go about putting LPF in the internet time machine. I'm able to see all the activity over the years, as well as the old site itself. Anyone is able to, here's some pictures with a link:

This was all before I had known about this site, but I'm sure there are some around who remember this! :D

Favorite shots are actually the bleeding ones. If I'm not bleeding, I'm not working hard enough!

What happened there in 2009? Looks like the place went dead..
