Yesterday I received a 50mw red and 50mw violet laser pointer, the package came from Hong Kong, took about 20 days. I live in the UK.
I had no problems with my order at all. Fantastic.

The only problem i see, is that the shipping fees are very high (at least, the shipping calculator on the site, for Italy, say me over 40$ for a 200$ laser, and 30$ for a 25$ laser) ..... and considering that here, if you want to pass customs offices without they steal your lasers, you need to have them shipped in 2 parts marked "spare parts", in 2 different packages, this means doubling the shipping fees, and this take away all the possible benefits.

I got my lasers, I'm new to this all, so my opinion is probably pointless (at best) but I'm a bit upset. I ordered 100mW Violet, and a 150mW Red. My 50mW green out shines both. I do not have instruments to test them, but from looking and the wal neither compare

^ remember that, for the eyes, green is the most visible wavelenght ..... red and violet will appear more dim than green ..... in fact, 50mW of green will appear, at eyes, more bright than 100mW of violet, and also of 150mW of red (except, maybe, if you have a 150mW 635nm red pointer, but i doubt this)

The only way for say if the power of your pointers is consistent, is to measure them with an LPM.

LOL ..... i've tried that calculator with the lowest wavelenght that it accept (397nm, anything lower than this gives me "divided by zero" error ), and it say me 162624.78mW for the dot, and 49264.32mW for the beam (compared with 50mW of 532nm)

I want to check if the calculator is correct ..... do you know where i can find a 162624.78mW 397nm pointer, for test it with practice ?

Okay, so if i order a $1.95 laser pointer, and it is not perfect(which I know it won't, that is impossible for it to be perfect) you will refund my money?
