Let me give you a short impression what you can expect when ordering from Tmart, the new LPF-sponsor since a few weeks. I wanted to know if they are elgit and wanna share my experiences.

I´m just posting a vid of the two pens showing the TRUE output on my Laserpowermeter. More information follows in a few hours.

This is the laser I ordered:
100mW 532nm Open-back Steel Green Laser Pointer - Tmart.com

And this is what I got:

-----------------
For the vid
- The LPM I´m using is the one from Nospin
- The red shades are the former goggles from O-Like
- The brown safety glasses are from JETLASERS, they are rated as OD 4+ for 190-450nm & 800-2000nm
-----------------

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This are the JETLASERS shades I mentioned above.
I vote that you put a "spoiler" in text for those of us who are currently in an environment where we can't play the video :) ?
ROTFLOL!
claimed 100mw 532nm
80mw peak. ~30mw stable, 60-90% of which is IR!:eek:
One of the pens only registers 1 (one) mW of green after being shone through what I
presume to be IR blocking glasses. The other one, 3mW.:wtf:
TMART:banned:
Thanks DJNY.
TMART IS CRAP !!!!!!!!!!!!! I still need to test my 200mw. Maybe i can do that tonight.
Wow. I think that passes Dino Direct in the sleaze department. Then again maybe they had the decimal a place or two off....
Oh these are some bad news from Tmart :(
Nice review and thanx for let us know :yh:
PS: The tune from your video brought me some nice old memories tho :p... yah i know im such a geek lol :tinfoil:
I was just about to order one to do a review but it seems you beat me to it. Glad I didn't waist my time and money!
Some time ago I ordered a 50mw green laser and has much less power than the DealExtreme 20mw module.
DealExtreme The modules are very good even without IR filter.
Sorry for my bad English. Through Google translate ... LOL
