Here's another teaser...LPM test to come soon!

It managed to burn a piece of plywood from about 2.5 meters away...I'm tickled!

The saik is a very good host. I have built one before :

This one was a 2.4W m140 build for a costumer. It had a huge duty cycle. After 5 minutes it barely got hot.

Thanks Sinner, now that you've said that, my girlfriend is already lobbying to have the real Drogo in her home, I suppose I can pacify her with her own Drogo laser...like that would make her happy.

@ Jander, I might have mentioned Moh's ring you discussed, but I have no experience with it. This host is basically out of the box w/ one of Eudamonium's massive heatsink.

So, I got to see the beam last night, compared to my 2W M-140...Man, these things don't even look like the same wavelength since the beam is so BRIGHT! I'll try to document it tonight. I'm metering this one on Sunday morning.
