The saik is a very good host. I have built one before :


This one was a 2.4W m140 build for a costumer. It had a huge duty cycle. After 5 minutes it barely got hot.

Nice pictures ! :)

Just might mention that the black focus ring Moh was selling look fantastic on the sAik.

Thanks Sinner, now that you've said that, my girlfriend is already lobbying to have the real Drogo in her home, I suppose I can pacify her with her own Drogo laser...like that would make her happy.

@ Jander, I might have mentioned Moh's ring you discussed, but I have no experience with it. This host is basically out of the box w/ one of Eudamonium's massive heatsink.

I left a link in my post I screwed a couple of them on one of my sAiks and IMHO I think they look sweet.

Well here is a pic of they shinny one, I did not take a pic of the black IIRC, anyhow.:wave:

what are you expecting for a final price on this. i want to buy a saik flashlight, almost bought one tonight, and a saik laser :)

So, I got to see the beam last night, compared to my 2W M-140...Man, these things don't even look like the same wavelength since the beam is so BRIGHT! I'll try to document it tonight. I'm metering this one on Sunday morning.

You guys have all weekend to start saving!
