Introducing Radiant Electronics and the Radiant Alpha Power Meter

Came home from a week in the mountains of NC today. My Radiant meter was waiting for me! (So was my G2 :D )

Plugged in a 9v battery and turned it on. It came up preset to .000.
Tried my cheapo pen lasers on it and came up with 41mW on my 532 and 45mW on my 405.

Quick read on my Arctic G1 came up with 778 mW.

Then I tried my Arctic G2 and got 776mW (full power, no lens cap).

Amazing how close the output of those two are.
Recharging the Tenergy battery to see if that's all there is.

Here's a pic of both lasers with fully charge batts:

Takes about 20-30 seconds for the meter to level off to the top readings.

The Radiant gives me a great comparison tool that I have been looking for at an affordable price. Two thumbs up! :gj:

Any ballpark figure of how many? Hopefully it'll be in stock for more than five minutes :)

No reservations :\ First come first serve; which is why I'm refreshing the site ritualistically -- probably like a bunch of other people here...

I guess it makes sense. If they were backed up so far in preorders, people would probably get even more frustrated.

it's alright bro, I will check periodically. Thanks.

We decided not to do the pre-order thing, it just complicates everything.

That's why we're doing a first come, first served type deal with the alpha.

We only accept orders for products we have in stock, ready to ship.

:)

That's a great idea. WL was a good example of why pre-ordering is a bad idea. I've also dealt with it first hand...too much trouble.

I sent a message via the website about the hotlights.

Got your email and replied.

By the way everyone, when you register as a customer on the Radiant Shop, be sure to subscribe to the newsletter! We will be sending out an email to all newsletter subscribers once the Alphas are back in stock. :)

Hello All,

We expected the Radiant Alpha to be back in stock this week, but now we can see that probably isn't going to happen due to a delayed shipment of components we need to manufacturer more of them.

If you sign up for an account on the Radiant Shop, we will be sending an email out to everyone once they are in stock.

Brad

Hey at least you aren't saying "one more week" for 4 months straight haha!
