Are the packages trackable?

(I ask, only because I'd love to be able to obsessively check it's precise location, distracting me from pretty much everything else for the next week or so!)

I think they are only trackable if they are shipped express. It was torture waiting for mine. Shipping times from US to Canada are too long

Wow, I had no idea these LPMs went that fast... no wonder there is never any at the web store

I do believe mine has arrived!! I need to go collect the package to know for sure, but I don't know of another Alex sending Me stuff. I'll let everyone know in a few hours.

Mine was waiting for me in the mail box when I got home in the evening.
I have not tried it yet though.
(My children virtually always around...I might give them goggles! :D)

Ok I have decided I have to get one of these especially because I finally received my Wicked Lasers Arctic Spyder S3 which is actually very good quality but I want to know the actual output.

Got mine yesterday, and it works like a charm. I will get pictures and a review up soon as I finish a couple of laser builds.

Today, at 2 a.m. in the morning finally I got the chance to try out the Radiant Alpha LPM.
I put to the test 5 O-like lasers. My findings were the following:

Radiant Alpha LPM: 360mW

According to the readings, none of the O-like lasers overspec and only one of them is dead on accurate - the "Real 1W", 445nm waterproof/focusable Blue Laser torch.
The biggest "disappointment" was the "Cute High power 300mW, 650nm Red laser torch/focusable." It achieved on test only 256mW instead of the O-like stated >280mW.

On the side note: The lasers were about 12 inches - or 30 centimeters - from the LPM during reading. I placed the lasers in a tripod and on top of a trunk away from any heat sources. There were no moving air current of any kind during readings. The LPM ran more than 15 min. before any reading.

The readings are pretty dead on except for the 50mW green. Maybe it is not sensitive at low powers ?

You will need to go to their website to see if they are
in stock. If they are in stock... you can buy it right there
through the website...

Hey everyone, things are finally moving again in regards to production of the Radiant Alpha LPMs. I will post here and issue a newsletter when more are up for sale.

I am also considering a DIY Alpha kit - you can build your own power meter and return it to me for calibration. Does this sound like a good idea?
