ROTFL ..... are USA peoples allowed to go around that way ?
Try that here, and you find yourself in a cage, without the time to understand what's happened
*snip*
The only thing I would add is as I understand it.....
"under the 6th Amendment to the US Constitution you are granted the
right to confront the witnesses/accusers against you"
I think if someone gets Banned and asks for it... the Accusers that
got you banned should be made available...
*snip*
In your scenario...I have to say - I agree that someone should be given the reasons (in this case, the reasons cited in the "complaints" against you).
However, I think the decision to come forward and be confronted should remain with the person who made the accusation. In my mind, always allowing for such confrontation would end in much the same way as the ban polls.
It would certainly not happen every time, but I think that would just cause more squabbles. If photonaholic (sorry, you're the post above me ) proposed that I be banned and c0ldshadow notified me, I would probably PM him wondering why. He would probably tell me his reasoning, and I would write what response I could. But then who's to say that wouldn't escalate and become a long and drawn-out argument that causes much headache for all parties involved? :undecided:

In your scenario...
why would you PM MarioMaster to find out why c0ldshadow banned you by phonaholics proposal....
You lost me in that one...:yabbem:
Jerry
and this leads me to ask.... should this topic be the next poll... should we make a poll to show avery
if a temp ban is proposed, should a person have the right to face thier accuser. before they are temp banned.
michael
Either way.. welcome back Jerry.
michael
Hey michael...
thanks for the welcome back...
The other thing that might be appreciate by a Banned member
is perhaps a WARNING that a Ban is imminent instead of no
warning at all as in my case...
