This is due to a feature in the script of VBulletin, that does not permit more than 50 (in this case) characters without a space between them, so none can post a thousand characters line and overflow the window size in lenght.

As you can see, each 50 characters it add automatically a space, so the smiles that fall in the "space added" positions are not recognized as smiles ..... for this reason they don't came out ..... try to add spaces between, like, each 8 smiles (6 chars each smile, 48 chars in total), and you will see that this problem must disappear ;)
