GB: PL520 murder fund






Man that is really unfortunate. You can't really blame the cat as it isn't aware of the situation. Cry it loud out. :p

I could make some high-res macrophoto's but I am still waiting for the groupbuy diodes on the PL forum. I am not really the guy that backs out when thing goes on the long run.
 
This is why, despite the 520 LED's on my router constantly taunting me, I have kept my 520 diode in its shipping packaging, still sealed. Just too paranoid with diodes now. By the time I build it I imagine it will have been 3 weeks or more since it came in the mail. Lol.
 
Well if your to scared to use it I'll trade you a 9mm with lens + cash for it! I'd be laser with in a few days. Actually I'd probably wait for the grooves to come in!

I guess I should have seen this coming though. My cat is a total dork that knocks stuff over all the time :/

Hopefully I will be able to afford another when I sell a couple more lasers... I am almost willing to make myself poor in order to get another one XD
 
Hey Blord, would you want me to send you my diode since you have far superior macro abilities and exp decanning?
 
You should keep the cat locked away from your experiments -- not so much because he/she might destroy your stuff, but for the safety of that cat.
 
I normally do. She snuck in when I had walked out to grab my mini tripod. I didn't even know she was there until I heard the crash.

I'm hoping the lasers I finish tonight will allow me to grab another PL520.
 
Sorry to hear that Apex, im sure you'll make enough from those laser to buy a new one. I should of gotten a groove with a 3.8mm head so i could put one of these diodes in it.
 
Groove doesn't come with a 3.8mm head. though i'm sending one to Mrcrouse to make it so I can press fit a 3.8mm module!

side note I thought these where 5.6 diodes??
 
I thought these were 3.8mm and i thought when Moh had the GB you could get a 5.6mm or a 3.8mm head? I know you had the option to choose 5.6mm and another dimension of the press fit head on Moh's order page (or at least i think so).
