I like diode 2. It has much lower wavelength and start with 515nm. :cool:
 
No noticeable difference between 515nm and 518nm :p

All data is collected (except the murder runs) charts are now being generated, if you want to make your own post them here and I will add them to the OP :)

I only need one of these diodes to do the degradation tests on, does anybody want me to send them the other diode to decan? I'm afraid I would mess it up, and I don't have macro photography equipment.
 
Sent it to daguin first for the decan job. He has a special decan tool. :)

How much are those thorlabs decanners any way?
 
Hey guys/gals. just wanted to thank you guys for ponying up the $ to do this. i dont check the group buy forum very often and missed this. so just wanted to say thanks again.
 
I PM'd Dave and he will be decanning one of the diodes :)
 
Here are a few pics of the 515nm 38mW skylaser in comparison with a 162mW 532 :)

It is weird that the skylaser although they differ 100+mW they both look just as bright. The 532 beams is just way more dense when you look at it from the side.

I wish i could measure the wavelength :)

Good job on the research guys ARG :D
