GB: 2$ copper modules ALL SIZES CLOSED

Lemon juice and salt... Makes your copper look new. Just be sure to rinse good to neutralize the acids.

:)

Cool
Actually you can see the module. Copper heatsinks next time ? :D

That doesn't look like copper  it looks more like gold!

Sorry to hear my paypal troubles Anthony. I've had a lot of similar ones in the past. Right now, I don't even have one. When I need to use paypal I just give my friend the cash and he buys it for me... They really are jerks over there. Everytime I send a payment as a gift I get a call at like 7:30 in the morning the next day waking me up and questioning me about it. Its ridiculous.

Yea, im looking at 2checkout now for accepting payments, buyers can still use PayPal but the money goes to my bank so the buyer still has that sense of security & I don't have to worry about PayPal controlling my money, PayPal has total control of your money they can do what they want..... There have been lawsuits against them as well, just google "PayPal horror stories" there's some really bad ones...

How does google checkout compare?

I'm surprised that anyone uses PayPal anymore. I use it as a buyer because it is so easy. But it seems like PayPal is HORRIBLE for merchants!

I don't mind merchants that take google checkout (which basically means credit card).

I'm glad PayPal is protective of the buyer, but I don't understand their draconian attitudes towards the merchants. I hope you get your money back AnthoT. I don't see how they can do that.

You were referring to "getting caught" but I don't see how you were doing anything to get "caught."

Moving "large" (Ha, I lost more than $1,600 on FB yesterday!) amounts of money isn't against the rules is it?

Here is an interesting resource. http://www.aboutpaypal.org/

And this... https://www.merchantinc.com/merchant-inc-vs-paypal/

Also, I read through this thread again last night and had forgotten some of the posts. I was really disappointed at some of the comments. I sure hope it wasn't the actions of an LPF'er that started all of that into motion! :(

Yea PayPal & merchants seem to be like russian rulet, who knows when theill pull the trigger on closing your account, most of the time the actual scammers get away with everything. The problem is PayPal has full control of your money... I want to get away from them ASAP

I'm with you buddy. I'll be looking into checkout soon. Thanks for the recommendation.

Yea it definetly seems like a great solution for buyers & sellers, buyers can pay with PayPal & sellers have control of their money :O

isn't there lika a month fee with 2checkout?

Yea, but I really don't want PayPal and by using that people can pay with PayPal, I'll be switching over as soon as I make a new bank account  it's going to be perfect, no more problems like I've had, I'll also just use my PayPal for personal stuff, like buying, buying with PayPal is awesome but selling really sucks

Forgot to post that mine came yesterday along with some other goodies I bought from DRT. The modules were oxidized a bit but that's to be expected with unsealed copper. Now I just need to finish that saik build (and figure out what happened to by yorb laser. Wasn't the diode after all) next weekend!

:D I can't say thanks enough to everyone :)
This is what I didn't tell anyone in the start
what happened the whole time was about a week after the GB order was placed PP shut my old account down, I was averaging about 100$ in and out of my account per month, then up to 1500$ for the GB.... I provided them the info but they permanently closed it :cryyy: so I lost most of my money I had sitting in there, so I made a new account and I was unable to link my bank or credit card to my new account because it's still stuck on my old one and I can't remove it for 180 days... So I've been getting along with just the Paypal balance, which I'm honestly scared of now of they somehow catch me again then I'm really screwed.... I kept this a secret because I didn't want anyone to get all nervous that the GB might be affected... When the 3.8 & 9 mm's had to be reordered DTR sent the money... So he saved all those  and then thats why I was stressing so much for the FedEx package, because I wanted to print all the labels before I feared I got caught again... So I'll just warn anyone using Paypal for large transactions...

So what everyone's doing means so much :) I'm trying to expand what I have but it's tough, I'll eventually get to it but I'm happy this worked out pretty good :) it looks like according to tracking the majority of Canadian packages were delivered today   international may start seeing them next week :D

Once again I thank everyone so much  you're all very kind!

Oh & BTW i tested the density of them ;) C11000 density is .323 & i got .324 so it is indeed C11000, maybe just my scale is off :p

I just read this. Damn, I lost track of this thread for some time and only started reading it again today as I was clear-reading out my subscriptions. I'm so sorry for your troubles but I feel you, PP closed one of my accounts before too same situation (sort of). I had a raffle for an iphone, not a groupbuy. But I think they suspect trouble when they see many different accounts paying the same account. It looks like stealing or gambling. A GB would look identical to a raffle: a sudden influx of payments from many accounts. So I can see why they would cause you trouble.

Nonetheless, you've done a terrific job Anton! I felt you handled the groupbuy professionally and even when encountered with unforeseen circumstances, you've made it a smooth ride for us. I can see from the way you handle things, you truly care for others, customers or not. You've had me assured since the beginning, this only re-enforces it.

And Anton, please update me with your pp info. I have some spare coin left in my pp account that I can help you with :yh:

EDIT: Oh and have you checked out Payza? It's very user-friendly; only thing is buyers have to sign up and add their card to pay, there's no direct card invoicing yet =/ There's Moneybookers too, which have pretty good rates for buyers and personal accounts, but Canadian merchants rates are sky high 3.9% + 0.35 EUR. Americans have it better at 2.9% + $0.25. I've never read about 2checkout but maybe I should...
