The mirror has been put in backwards. The face that the red and violet is hitting doesn't have the reflecting coating. Right now the green is hitting that side.

Yep just what FML said hope you didn't put a ton of epoxy on that mirror or you will have to break it out and get a new one.
Say if you would like some help with that WF I would be glad to lend a hand, maby put it in a case so you can walk around with it and make pretty pictures for people
heres a coulpe I just finished and man is it ever cool to walk around and find new white walls to paint with it hehehe...

Hey all,
I know I have taken a long break but it's time to light the white fusion fires again an crank out some kits. I know both FML and PBD have been waiting for kits for quite some time. I appreciate the break and you two are first on my list. My regular work is starting to slow down so time wise I am getting some breathing room. I should have 2 or 3 kits ready by the end of next week.

Using a Meredeth glass lens for the red laser, would the famous "Meredeth Line" that it causes result in less than optimal fused colors?
In other words... what is the recommended lens for the red module?
Also, in the Chroma graphs, the mW outputs, are they representing the mW output past all the optics or for the individual modules (post lens)?

Hi TGR,
I think the line you are talking about comes from a LPC red diodes and not the lens. Glass lens do seem to make the line more visible but the line is always there. I have used these diodes when blending beams and the beams blend just fine. the projection on the wall will still show the line and any other splatter / artifacts that the other lasers may have. as long as the artifacts are minor they do not cause any negative effects when the lasers are tracing patterns on a wall. the worse the artifacts get the more blurry the pattern gets.
I personally like the SmOC red diodes because they do not have a visible line projection.
The Chroma graphs are from calculations and not direct measurements. The calculations and graph show you what powers will result in white or any other color you are trying to get after optics. I need to lower the numbers on the graphs I have up. It seems that the GGW diodes are not holding up as well as we would like under continuous duty. The same is most likely true for the other Blu-Ray diodes as well. Red and Green seem to hold up well because there power output when blending all 3 to white is usually lower than there max.
